Skip the hype and hoopla at the famous restaurant nearby, and grab a great meal at AR Restaurant instead. My wife had the excellent AR Burger, with pork belly and smoked gouda; and I had the delicious Oak Smoked Tri Tip Sandwich, with the house's own BBQ sauce. We highly recommend both.

The place is small and unpretentious, with an eclectic "tablecloth and sheetmetal" kind of vibe, and it is located in a quiet shopping center off the main drag. Our server, a very friendly and attentive young man, took great care of us.

We had a fried chicken sandwich. It was excellent. Chicken was crispy , well seasoned with coleslaw between fresh tasing buns. We shared a green salad that was very good. For dessert, we split a large piece of cheesecake with strawberry garnish. Best that we have had. Out waiter was very good and knowledgeable. You can tell that everyone takes pride...

Based on the glowing reviews on Google, we stopped this weekend to pick up a tri-tip sandwich. It was great! The meat was high-quality and very flavorful, and the roll/bread added to the overall experience.
