Since I live down the street I would love to eat there at least once a week but ….on aug 1 I arrived and sat for 10 min outside at a dirty table . When server arrived I had to ask her to clean it ( the restaurant outside had only two table’s occupied ) then she did so but still left it dirty! She brought me menu that were too sticky and there was some food stuck to it . I ordered a margarita Miami. Since I had been there before and had a margarita regular and was told it’s happy hour no one told me the other margaritas were not available for happy hour prices. I asked that the chili peppers Spice be eliminated, but when the drink arrived, the rim was dipped in a lot of pepper spice. The server offered to pour the drink into another glass, but thats not really eliminating the chili spice flavor. Disappointing . I asked for paper napkins. Never got them . Read more10/26/25 update: Chicken fajita bowl was very good and service was snappy. And the $10 “Margarita Monday” margarita was good, but I’d be a little disappointed if I paid $16 full price for a margarita that uses $12 a bottle tequila. And I had to laugh at the straw they gave me for my water.
Excellent mezcal Margarita, cold beer, poor food. I stopped by for lunch and had the $26 shrimp agua Chile Verde, and I was surprised it was a chilled dish. I don't mind chilled dishes but I don't like to be surprised. It should have been clearly stated on the menu. Generous portion but the shrimp was so tough I couldn't cut it with a fork, much less chew it. Not sure what day it was prepared but it was overcooked to the point of rubber. I told the server not to worry about it but she took about 50% off my entre order anyway. The place was virtually empty when I got there about 1:00 p.m. on a weekday and I think I now know why. I asked what whiskey she would recommend and she suggested Captain Morgan...🤷🏽♂️ My friend asked her a question regarding the mixers they use. She told my friend they don't make the particular flavor of mixture they were talking about. My friend literally creates and makes mixers for drinks for a living.
