Burritos Lalo — Restaurant in Buellton

We should have tested the food for what they put in it and press charges. My brother didn't tell me until today and he ordered a completely different thing a carne asada burrito I had a chicken taco both of them gave us the poop so bad we couldn't go to work or anything 24 hours on the toilet they definitely did something to our food. Two different orders two separate things and we both couldn't get off the toilet for 24 hours. We usually try to go there every Sunday after church. Chefs work harder. Unfortunately in my langue burrito I got a giant piece of cow tongue about 2/3 oz. We always go there. I didn't complain asking for money I just said there was an issue with the language last time and they stiffed me on my order big time. Wasn't asking for money back or anything extra at all offered to pay to buy tortilla chips and they said they're in the bag which they were not when I got home. On top of that the front lady treated me like I was a bum not knowing who I am. That didn't bother me as much as them stiffing me just because she was upset that I made a very small complaint asking for nothing. And then two hours after me just mentioning that and eating their food I got diarrhea. I never get diarrhea my stomach can handle a lot. I would put my money that she poured something else in my food. I'm calling her out. 2 hours after I eat and then straight deadly diarrhea yeah there's a problem there. was telling a lot of my church members friends and family to go there I won't be doing that anymore. I have never had a volatile stomach and I've never felt so sick in my life after eating that. I truly think they sabotaged my food and didn't even know if any of it was going to my kids or anything the place is messed up. After I was eating there I almost couldn't make it up to the bathroom from my job site. Not only was the front lady mean but I don't trust them anymore and you shouldn't either. Food poisoning usually sticks to just one meal or something that's bad it happens I understand but both of us with two completely different orders and them already being upset with us just because we let them know something was wrong with the previous order these people are crooked and they definitely put something in our meals. It sounds crazy but I promise you these people are crooked after months of going to them and having friends family and church members going there. They don't care about the influence that other people have on the community. Talk about a treasure. You know it's good when you walk in a restaurant and see the culture represented in all aspects. The cook in the back, the front and the customers let you know this isn't for play play.

The salsa is fresh. I wish they offered the hot salsa in a bowl. Bringing that out with the food was a trap. I got the breakfast burrito. I have had good breakfast burritos but this one was great. There is a farm fresh place across the walkway outside and I see why they don't get business.

The food was delicious. Fresh, well seasoned, and priced well. Honestly, I have paid more for less in other places. The staff is super attentive often asking you what you are thinking as you are thinking it. My only gripe was there was no horchata because if the food is this great I can only imagine that this may be the best horchata ever.

I went with a few friends a few days ago and my experience here was horrible. One friend ordered taquitos and asked for guacamole on the side which never came with his order and the taquitos were really small covered with lettuce and tomatoes. My other friend ordered cheese enchiladas with beans and rice and she said it was bland with not much flavor. And I ordered a carnitas burrito which wasn't a burrito, I clearly told the waitress that I want a pork carnitas burrito and she brought me out a tortilla bowl with a ton of lettuce. Even my friend that ordered before my other friends and I got there, he ordered a plate of beans and rice with 2 birria tacos and it wasn't accurate, everything tasted so bland.
