McDonald's — Restaurant in Buellton

The most unbelievable thing happen to us. My 3 children and I sat down to eat. As I was getting the drinks and grabbing napkins, my kids started eating. All of a sudden two workers approached us, a manager and an employee. The manager started by taking the boxes of chiken nuggets out of my kids hands while the other started to tell me that we had the wrong order, note: they handed us the order. At that moment I started to ask what was going on... And once I figured it out, I tried to tell the manager to leave my kids nuggets and take the one from the bag, not sure why our food was in the bag since we asked to dine in. With no knocking any sense to these people my son then started crying. One he was not understanding why these people were taking our food, and why Dad was arguing with them. Imagine this, the two orders were almost identical! The order we were given had an extra order of nuggets and the plain hamburger, we had order, was a cheeseburger. Looking back, it all started with unbelievable poor service. They should have approached us and explain the error. (Not by grabbing food out of my kids hands). The am out of food that was mixed up was our plain hamburger with a cheese burger. The extra nuggets, well feel free to take them, but make sure you explain to the customer and not just grab and take it away. Oh, abd yes, we too order nuggets, that is why my kids were weirded out. Sadly, one of my kids got so scared that pin theend the manager kept offering him ice cream or a toy. We were also offered the food the started to take.... But I didn't except the food, made sure they took it back. The ice cream, well I noticed that it calmed my son so I let him have it. Sadly we finished our...

This is the most horrible McDonald's that I've experienced by far! we went through the drive-thru we just came from Chumash Casino and we're a bit hungry wanted to get some chicken nuggets and some fries we went through the drive-thru the lady asked us to park and they would bring our food out to us it was already over 10 minutes we were waiting and nobody ever came out when we went in to find out where our order was they said they hadn't got a clue and they wanted a copy of the receipt because they lost our order I have never even been to a restaurant that actually lost a customer order like that for a drive-thru when we finally got our food the fries tasted like they were sitting there for hours soft Beyond eating the chicken nuggets were so dried out and disgusting they gave us two extra apple pies for our inconvenience that was ridiculous ! I was reading other reviews it looks like this McDonald's has a bad reputation, managers don't care and it seems not even does their staff they don't seem to b trained do not come to this McDonald's horrible...

I've always found the staff to be friendly & helpful... so far never had problems w getting an order wrong.

While I'm definitely no fan of the new McDonald's "look" I'm extremely grateful for how consistently they keep front of house in a pleasant state of "clean & tidy"!

So while I'm always hopeful I'll receive my food in a consistent state of hot & fresh, I'm real disappointed at how often this location fails at the quality control. Usually just chalked it up to the slightly remote location (less foot traffic + more time for food to dry out under warming lights). But isn't there someone in charge to account for n prevent it?!

If not, hope they get someone soon... cuz, any other restaurant management that charges near $10 for 2 dried miniburrito, lukewarm hashbrown, sm coffee would close down within the year. No matter how clean & friendly!

All things said & done, at least their doors & drive-thru's are open for us in a pinch, the beverages are great and their senior...
