My work requires me to frequently travel between Paso Robles to Long Beach and all the way up to Bakersfield. I also frequently visit the Bay Area and Sonoma and Humboldt country. While being someone that travels all over the state and also being a huge Taco Bell fan, I can confirm that this is absolutely THE BEST TACO BELL IN CALIFORNIA . I stopped here for lunch on my way to work one day and everyone was extremely friendly, the restaurant was extremely clean and so were the bathrooms. My food was out very fast and I have never had such high quality Taco Bell before in my life. The cheesy Gordita crunch came out piping hot, the shell was crunchy and the flatbread was warm and soft, the amount of spicy ranch was absolutely spot on. My 5 layer burrito had the absolute perfect ratio of ingredients and was mixed together perfectly without a single drop spilled. The burrito was rolled so well I could have thrown it across town and it would still be perfectly in-tact. They made my nachos last so the chips were perfectly crunchy with the nacho cheese sauce not having a chance to penetrate into them and soften them up before I ate them. The beef just tasted a little better than other locations like it had extra seasoning or something. The lettuce and tomato was so fresh I almost was looking for a farm behind the building to see if the vegetables were being grown there. I know this is Taco Bell, but this particular location almost makes it feel like it’s a farm to table restaurant. I’ve told numerous coworkers about this Taco Bell and they all agree that this is the best in the state! We always stop here on our way up to Santa Maria whenever we get the chance. We even refer to this location as “the Buellton Bell” or “Buelly Bell” for short. The absolute dedication and perseverance that these employees have to their craft is unmatched. Never once has it just been “ok” like most other Taco Bell locations around the country. I would highly recommend all of the kitchen staff move up to be corporate chefs for the company, they set the bar high and it has been unmatched since. Thank you Buelly Bell for all the great quality...
Read moreI've always had issues with this location but cut them some slack previously. Today, I've had it. Mind you, it was only 3:30pm today and there were no customers when I arrived. When I pulled up to the drive thru, I waited almost a full minute until I was "greeted". Every single time I go to this location, all of the employees have no personality, don't try to be pleasant, smile, or anything. They are not friendly or customer service oriented. Once I was greeted, I could hear the other workers in the background messing around, which is probably why my customized request wasn't heard correctly. I did not happen to look at the board to make sure my order was correct, so that part is on me. But, I didn't realize how bad the food was until I was already commuting home on my 30 minute drive.
I ordered 3 Spicy Potato Soft Tacos and a Bean Burrito, no onion, add extra cheese and red sauce. The potatoes in my soft tacos were so old/hard, I thought I was going to chip tooth. The lettuce had a reddish tint, like when it's getting old. One taco had no sauce. The other way too much. The bean burrito tasted like it was just beans, no sauce or cheese. Once I got home, I looked at my receipt and the guy had put no onion or red sauce.
The employees that work here are all either teenagers or young adults. They do not possess any customer service qualities. I am a loyal Taco Bell customer and visit Taco Bell locations multiple times in a month. I will not go back to this location. I left this information on the official Taco Bell survey as well. Management needs to take a look at this location. Look at all of the 1 Star reviews for...
Read moreAPPALLING EMPLOYEES ATTITUDE towards customers!!! Was up all night with diarrhea, not certain if it was from food poisoning??? Got my and other customers orders wrong!!! Substandard to other Taco Bell’s I‘ve eaten at in Santa Barbara, Milpas and Shore Line Drive/Cliff Drive/Carrilllo Blvd corner locations. Milpas location twice in the last 2-3 months.
If you’re driving north or south on Highway 101 and plan on getting off on the Buellton-Solvang exit for a quick or relatively quick meal here’s 4-5 that I’ve eaten at though some not in the last couple of months: Ellen’s Danish Pancake House-breakfast, lunch & dinner China Panda-near O’Reilly’s Gino’s Pizza The Habit-burger’s, chicken sandwiches, etc. Rudy’s Mexican Food
There’s some new fast food restaurants that have gone into Buellton that I’d never heard of. Tried one burger joint in Albertsons-CVS shopping center and personally prefer the Habit. Deli sandwiches are pretty good at Albertsons but no place to sit.
