Paul's Place — Restaurant in Buena Park

I've been a client of Paul's Place at Buena Park for quite some time. Specially, after visiting Paul's Place in Anaheim, which had been unpleasant cus of their undercooked food which I had experienced in the past. My husband and I usually stop here sometimes for breakfast, other times we don't usually order "to go". I've also taken some friends & family here & they seem to like it & continue to go there. However, today I decided to treat my boss so I walked into the restaurant & ordered "to go". To my surprise when I got to my job, the avocado was rotten and nicely placed on top of the omelettes!! I called the local manager "Leo" talked to her regarding my unexpected and disgusting experience. I told her that the avocado was rotten & placed on top of both orders. She apologized and said she would bring it to the district Manager & try to check the produce. I've suggested they talked to her cook instead because he was the one preparing the food and could see that these avocados are not fresh, & in no condition to be served to anyone..this had never happened before in the years I've been going there. Only once I mentioned to her they forgot to put the 'avocado', but this time it was a bad experience specially when I decided to treat my boss today! I mentioned to her that I've referred my neighbor & he also had this same experience when he ordered "to go" about a month ago. This seems to be happening only on the orders "To Go" & most recent cuz I've never experienced it while dining in.. Check your orders when you have them "to go" Paid...

I was a frequent customer because this place is close to my workplace. The quality of the food is good, though a bit overpriced. My favorite part of their menu was breakfast, especially on the weekends since they serve it until 1pm. I stopped coming here however, due to their bad service. The drive thru is a nightmare. One time, I tried ordering breakfast to go on a Sunday at 1:01pm and they wouldn't take my order and I thought "ok I get it, served until 1pm". But then another time I ordered breakfast, I get there, I'm ready to pay, and then the cashier tells me they don't have my order. Then she tries to blame it on me, telling me to check the number I called because I probably called the wrong number. After confirming the phone number with her, she looks through their receipts and tells me they gave my order to the wrong person. Like, really? The receipt had my name on it, and the other person who they gave my order to didn't even order the same thing! Then they ask me if I still want a burrito but they can't make it a breakfast burrito since it's already past breakfast time. RIDICULOUS. From now on, I don't care if I have to drive a couple more miles, I will be taking my business...

DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION! This is a horrible place. The owner should be embarrassed! I normally go to the Paul's Place in Ananheim on Magnolia and have always had an amazing experience. This however, was horrible. The staff had attitudes and were not genial at all. I always order a pastrami plate and was so disappointed at this location. The pastrami sandwiches are so small compared to the Anaheim location. I am used to always getting 2 onion rings and a pickle with my plate. This plate didn't have it. When I asked about it, the server said "We normally do that if we have extra." They proceeded to give me the two smallest they could find in the basket that was sitting on the fryer and I never received the pickle. I am never coming back to this location and I will be telling everyone else I know not to as well! In edition, the health department needs to re-evaluate this location. It was dirty, they had taco bowl shells sitting against the grimey wall, and there were nails all over the mat in front of the counter. I would've left but I already paid and didn't want to go through the hassle of getting a refund. I AM NEVER COMING BACK HERE. GO...
