Stater Bros store #132 7511 Orangethorpe Ave. Clerk Mark was not nice , an happy and rude to me . I was not doing anything wrong? I came here to get cash back for $200 I called and asked one of there store how much cash back i can get, she said $200 so i crab a candy for $1.25 so i can get cash back. This clerk Mark "Chubby" told me i cannot get cash back if i dont spend $5.00 so i reply ring me 4 times . He gave me the money but he did not hand me the candy . So i told him i gonna get the three more candy ok. Then while im getting the candy , i heared him and i think asking one of his co worker blocking me in the counter so i dont go back. So i asked him why the guy standing and blocking holding this blue counter rope. I was shock, humiliated and cant believed he did that. He did not hand me the candy , in the first place it his fault . Why you treated me like that Mark ? Did i do wrong ? Or because Im Asian ? Whats the reason doing this to your customers ? What you did is not acceptable. In other store branch, they don't asked me to spend $5 before i can get cash back I did know and never happened to me before. I never and even think this store has an employee like him. Im hurt and not happy and shocked? Getting cash back is that a problem Mark? What you did is totally wrong. Updated from 5 to 4 stars: came back at night to get my usual kombucha & a slim Jim and my EBT card wouldn’t work even tho I had more than enough $ on there. Usually it didn’t even let me get to the part where I enter my pin so I’m p sure it was an error on stater bros end. Also used the bathroom (single stalls, 1 for men & 1 for women, both need lock code)during this same trip and while the women’s side was clean enough, there was no toilet paper. It was 30 min to closing but still there should be tp at all times.

They have more Hispanic specialty items in the deli here than your usual stater bros! They have 4 kinds of tamales: pork, beef, chicken, and sweet corn ($2.50 each) and they’re cold so you can pay with EBT. They also have 3 kinds of sour cream and diff cheeses (I’m not Hispanic so I’m not sure what the exact names are). Store is kept clean and employees are friendly, and as always, prices are some of the lowest of all the grocery stores! Also love that you don’t have to physically clip/add digital coupons to your acc; they’re automatic so you just enter a phone number to get digital deals. Love...

Bad service, accusing me of stealing I showed them I was not stealing anything. A prejudice and uneducated worker named Chris who has no knowledge of what theft is should not be working there. It's sad they don't know how to do their job right and want to hide behind cameras. Don't go in wearing a hat, being Mexican and wearing a white shirt and being skinnier than him cause he's going to hate. People like that will stay working a minimum wage job with no hope for a future. PLEASE HIRE CONSCIOUS WORKERS. Do not accuse someone of stealing and saying it's on camera.
