Wendy's — Restaurant in Buffalo Grove

Update August 2023: My last few orders have been hot, fresh, and fulfilled accurately, including any sauce added to the order. Normally I order on Mobile or website and pick up in drive thru. I've enjoyed trying the strawberry frosty when they've had it.

Update (2022) with another visit: picked up mobile order and staff made a comment at the pickup window "that's a lot of sauce." Once home, I realized they did not fulfill my whole order and did not put all the sauces in the bag. They did not disclose this and instead did not fulfill my whole online order. I did not have enough sauces to dip my large dry in. This is deceitful and if you want to change how many sauces customers can order, you need to reach out to the wendys app developers and work with them to change how much can be ordered at your specific store. Not giving the sauces without communicating this is not the answer. All food was nice and hot and fresh.

Staff said it would be 10 minutes for my order due to needing to make chicken. I didn't mind at all and was happy to wait. However, while the chicken sandwiches were pipping hot, the fries and burger were barely warm. It seems like they packaged the rest of my order up while waiting for the chicken to be done, instead of making sure everything was fresh and hot when the order was...

I love Wendy's! They are so much better than the other fast food burger options.

There's no silly names to burgers with special sauces on them and they don't use frozen patties (which are gray () when they're cooked.

They have burgers, baconator burgers, fries, nuggets, baked potatoes, chili, and their signature frostys. They recently had a special frosty that tasted like an orange dreamsicle. It was so freakin awesome!

Their food is fresh. Their fries are the best! Their frosty drinks are yummy.

I know one of the managers, Marco, and he is incredibly friendly and is great to chat with. I knew him from another place he worked and he was just so nice, friendly, and always treated you like family.

The restaurant is always so clean both inside and out and is not noisy. Just a nice place to go to pick up a burger, and enjoy your meal.

Plus, their social media, specifically X (formerly Twitter) is so freakin awesome, too!

Skip McDonalds, Burger King, Carl's Jr, Hardees, and Arby's and do yourself a favor and grab a Wendy's burger....

This location is AWESOME! Seriously was the best Wendy's I've ever been to. The food was prepared perfectly; I felt like I was actually eating the same Single with fries right out of a TV commercial or other advertisement. The taste was spot-on and, no hyperbole at all, was simply the best experience I've ever had at a Wendy's, hands down. The restaurant was spotless, the staff were all well trained and knowledgeable about their different roles, and I don't think I've ever had such a great experience at not just a Wendy's but at any fast food restaurant, period. I will DEFINITELY be making the trip to come back, even though it's about 18 miles each way for me from my house it's worth it. You should stop by and give them your business if you're in the area - or not. As I said, it's worth the trip for a restaurant that's clean and welcoming, a friendly staff who are experienced and enjoy what they do, and for the food which will be perfect in every regard.
