Buffalo Thai Kitchen — Restaurant in Buffalo

Let me start at the beginning, we walked in and saw an open table. We sat down. First words from the manager was, “for future reference, I will seat you.” There was no signage to know to wait to be seated. They had a partisan news network playing loudly on display for everyone to see. When I go out to dinner, like most people, I do not want to hear that. When our waiter came and introduced himself, we asked how his day was, we were shocked at how he was openly complaining about his back hurting, being understaffed and being TOO busy. We ordered our food including the potstickers for an appetizer. I ordered cashew chicken. When my plate arrived, the portion was small and sitting in an excessive amount of water and juices. My wife ordered the yellow curry and it came out looking like a soup, which she did not order, nor was it described on the menu as it arrived. The waiter we had never came back to check on us or refill our drinks. When we were ready to leave he asked how our dinner was and I mentioned the potstickers never arrived. He took them off the ticket and then told us they were ready but no one brought them out to us. Aren’t you our waiter?! My family and I enjoyed this incredible new Thai restaurant on its 2nd day in business. I can't begin to tell you just how yummy the food was, and the young man who was taking our orders was so very kind, accommodating, and even though his business was overflowing with customers and felt chaotic, he remained calm and on task. He greeted each and every person with a smile. His kindness oozed all around him. The great selection of food was very good, with good portions and reasonably priced. We will definitely be back. YUM! This is brand NEW to Buffalo and I got a personal tour and personal lesson in Thai cooking in the new kitchen! Everything is simply arranged and clean and well organized. Most importantly, it's the REAL THING and totally delicious! I had the Thai version of Chicken Fried Rice as it's one of my favorites and I was curious about the difference in taste. It was great!
