Arrived from out-of-town at 9pm on a Friday evening, May 17 (late Spring). Driving North on I25, we had looked up Restaurants in Buffalo that were open late. After being in the car for 14 hours, we were excited to find an Italian Eatery open that WAS NOT Fast Food. According to your Google page, you are an Italian Eatery that is o ppl need until 11pm.
Sadly, the Google site information is INCORRECT. First, we walked in at 9pm and a sign said, "Please wait to be seated." So, we waited. There were only a couple patrons at the bar and two sitting in the restaurant area. However, the waitress ignored us for a good three minutes and my honey finally said, "It does say 'wait to be seated', right?" At that, the waitress turned around from her chatting and told us to sit anywhere. We did. She then plopped two menus and two sets of silverware in front of us and said, "Our kitchen closed at 9 but you can get drinks from the bar and I can see if they can still make you a pjzza." Second, we are not partakers of alcohol, nor did we go to an Italian Eatery for pizza or beer.
This Google page says "Italian Eatery" not "Pizza and Bar." It also states that Pie Zanos is OPEN on Fridays from 11am to 11pm.
Please, for the sake of future travelers, update your account AND perhaps give a "Customer Service Training" Course to your Friday...
Read moreOn a road trip we stayed overnight in Buffalo Wyoming a cute little town had some very interesting stores in this very small town.Pie Zane’s was recommended to us. We went in for dinner. It wasn’t busy. The car was interesting and you could carry on a conversation in a normal level of voice. The staff was cheery and upbeat. The pasta was horrible overcooked., the Alfredo was gluey and I had the marinara which was barely possible. The saving grace to the whole dinner was the antipasto. It came on a giant platter. There was enough truly for seven people although there were only four of us and it was either a choice of individual or family. It truly was a meal in itself. Next time I would certainly choose something besides the pastas, maybe a chicken or a pork, but I certainly would include the...
Read moreAte here on Sunday night & ordered the Margarita pizza. I try to balance my reviews by beginning with the things I liked. The ambiance was great, rustic Italian and the service was excellent. The appetizers—artichoke cakes were tasty as well. The beer and wine were reasonably priced. This could have been an off night for the cooks but the pizza was HORRIBLE! Tepid cardboard with red sauce best describes it. When my pizza arrived, it looked as if it had set under the heat lamp for an hour & tasted like it too. I asked my server to please heat it b/c the cheese wasn’t even warm. When she returned it to me, the crust was so burnt the pie was inedible. Needless to say, I left the...
