Worst catfish I ever ate in 83 years. Catfish was tasteless and gross. Nothing but cornmeal and skin. Not even qualifies as nuggets. Absolutely no seasoning, just a mouth full of cornmeal. Why sell this crap in the hood.? I gave it to the dogs and they bit me. Never ever will go there again for anything. I was so ripped off. Friendly people but horrible food. Should have went to Bailey Seafood. Years ago the fish was good but now with new owners, food is garbage, at least the catfish. If you enjoy a mouth full of unseasoned cornmeal, then have at it. I can’t see how they stay in business. They had one chance with me and they blew it. I didn’t bother to call and complain because they wouldn’t change anything. This is who they are. RUN FAST AWAY FROM THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU LIKE THROWING AWAY YOUR MONEY. The owner wrote I should have just called and he would have made things alright no matter it would take. No, they should be done it right in the first place. What would have changed? Nothing. They cut up one filet of fish and sell you pieces so as to charge you more. Every other place sells you the whole filet as 1 piece. That piece is thick and seasoned as the fries. No seasoning on the fish at all. Sorry guys, you lost a customer. I had just got out of Buffalo General Hospital and went there because I wanted a good thick catfish not pieces of cut up catfish drenched in unseasoned corn meal. I like the people but not the catfish. Hayes Seafood House on Main Street In Clarence NY has excellent food. I’ll be going there next. Hopefully they haven’t changed since I’ve been there years ago. I’ll write a review on them afterwards. Captain of The Sea, please revamp your methods and delivery the delicious food that I know you can, for the sake of the hood and your survival as a thriving neighborhood business. We in the hood deserve your very best as I know you can. You’ll make more money than you can spend. Trust me. I know good food. By the way, I wanted a piece of cake but you are selling kid size pieces of cake to adult prices. Way too expensive. I’d rather go to Sam’s or BJ’s and buy the whole cake or pie., much cheaper and get four times as much. Just food for thought, my brother. We ordered at around 6:00pm. They had none of the listed sides on the menu. I ordered a perch and wing combo. I got 3 pieces of fish, just a bit larger than fish nuggets. The wings were ok. Was 3 of those. This combo comes with fries and a side cup (think condiment cup, but a size up) of slaw.

They didn't give forks, had to go back and get those. No napkins. The gave hot sauce and tartar sauce packets.

The fish and wings were hot the fries were warm. No salt to taste and very little flavor.

Neighborhood looking a bit rough. Definitely off the beaten path. But this is my tourist take.

Ordered $100 dollars worth of food and got totally ripped off. 12 piece perch meal and 6 piece catfish meal and got nuggets. Two pieces of catfish cut into 6 pieces and perch pieces ridiculously small. And to top it off it doesn't even taste good, it's all fried in old oil. I've ordered from here several times before, a couple of years ago and this is definitely not what I used to get. Then a piece of catfish was a whole piece of catfish and it was quite tasty.
