Taste of Bengal is a true gem for anyone craving authentic Bengali cuisine. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home.
The food is absolutely delicious—rich in flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. The biryani is fragrant and perfectly spiced, and the shorshe ilish (hilsa in mustard sauce) was a standout dish that took me straight back to Dhaka. Their use of traditional spices and ingredients really sets them apart from other South Asian restaurants.
The service was also excellent—friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. Whether you’re new to Bengali food or grew up with it, there’s something here for everyone.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a taste of Bengal...

The beef boti kebab was a bit mushy and didn’t resemble traditional boti kebab, though it still tasted decent. The butter naan was good. The mango lassi was nice, but the salty lassi was essentially just raita in a glass, not what we expected.
