Usually good experiences with Chuck's, and maybe I caught them on a bad day, but I had a poor experience w their service last night. When you go in to pick up your order, you will notice that the kitchen is loud. I told them I was there to pick up and I swore they said my name. I go there a lot, multiple times a month, and I also assumed they recognized my name/ face, so when they put the order on the counter, I assumed it was mine. I signed my bill and left. I got home to both a call from Chuck's, and an incorrect order. I called back apologetically; like I said, I made a couple assumptions and felt responsible. However, the tone when I called back was irritated and chastising; questioning how I POSSIBLY could have gotten the wrong order, signed for it w/o realizing, and left. I was taken aback, this was expressed to me AFTER I apologized and offered to come back with the food. I did go back, and when I went in I apologized again; the guy at the counter had an exasperated tone and was muttering under his breath when I told him I paid w a card. I left feeling confused, annoyed, and betrayed. I wasn't trying to cause them more work, and I feel like I took my share of responsibility. Like I said, maybe it was a bad day, but I used to talk up Chuck's to everyone I know, and I no longer feel the urge to do that. I'll try them again someday, but right now I think I'll take my biz to one of the other zillion pizza places...
Read moreYour cashier Mike was rather pleasant at first but after waiting an hour and some change for a simple order I decided to call back to cancel and request a refund. He got very rude at that point saying he told me delivery started at 11:30 which was not true cause i wouldve asked a co worked to just pick it up if that was true he told me I'd have my food withing an hour after ordering around 10:20 it wasn't delivered until 11:51 fries were lukewarm which everyone knows is not good. Soggy chicken fingers and sub bread from sitting in the sauces too long and I'm beyond disappointed. a few people at my job had such good things to say sad that I got the bad end of the bargain even after spending close to $30 first and last time with this place definitely I'll be filing a dispute since no one wanted to give me a refund for this...
Read moreThe quality of the Fish Fry dinner's has tanked in the last 3 or so months. Not only are the portions now MUCH smaller than competing pizza/sub shops (today's Fish Fry came in at a whopping 5.3 ounces), but the fries routinely show up room temp and even cold. Called to complain and request an actual hot meal be sent out to replace the one I got and was told that if I didn't like it I could call back next week and talk to the owner, but otherwise they weren't going to do anything about it. Like, I don't know if they're letting the food sit before sending it out for delivery or if the delivery person is really cranking their AC, but my rolls and fries should...
