Great food and great service! I went with my wife and we very much enjoyed the dining experience here!
Pros: The staff, (hostess and waiter) we're very friendly and extremely helpful. The hostess took care of us right away and cleaned off a table specifically for us. Our waiter was friendly and stayed on top of our needs. Didn't have to wait too long and he didn't come by too much. His efforts were just right. There is a mistake that was made on my order and even though I did not want him to go to any trouble to fix it he went the extra mile and got me a whole other plate.
The food. Between us my wife and I had: A jerked chicken wing appetizer that had good flavor without being in two spicy paired with their unique citrus sauce. The wings were cooked perfectly and retain their heat throughout the time we were eating. The sauce was a good pairing however there are other sauces available. Redfish and rice pilaf on the side. The red fish was tasty and prepared well in the rice pilaf had a great flavor to it. Lobster bisque. This was some of the better lobster bisque that I've had. It was creamy and flavorful. Grilled shrimp salad (I substituted fried shrimp). The salad was a very generous portion (It was a dinner salad and not a side salad) with the orange dressing. That particular dressing paired very well with the fried shrimp. You could probably just serve the fried shrimp and dip it in that dressing. The amount of cheese it's on the salad is not overwhelming and they use a finely shredded cheese. (Most other restaurants put too much cheese on salads.) The fried shrimp used in the salad was perfectly prepared not too bready but just right. Strawberry shortcake and pineapple rum cake. Both were fantastic desserts! No nuts used. We have a nut allergy so we very much appreciated that they don't use nuts in the dishes served at the restaurant. A nice added bonus.
Overall: I would recommend this restaurant...

Meal: Lunch
Atmosphere The family relaxed vibe is strong here with not overdone decore. Generic canvas prints of seashore scens and what may be an actual painting adorn the walls. A full size small fishing boat, what looks like a racing kayak and fishing shack building architecture elements. Clean and up to date facility inside.
Bathrooms Relaxed yellow lighting and homey feeling design. Clean all around except.... wet floor at the toilets with shoe prints through it being tracked out of the stall. I did not determine or want to investigate what the substance being tracked was but I don't want to jump to any conclusions either. Door frame paint pealing.
Recommendation on timing I arrived at 11am, 1/2 full at 12:00 but light beforehand so early is relaxing. Chatter starts to pick up at 1/2 capacity and background conversation white noise becomes noticeable with a slight echo as the entire interior has hard surfaces encouraging sound travel.
Calamari The fried squid is lightly battered and non- greasy. The brown sauce is slightly slaty and sweet. You would think that the fried bell pepper accompanying would bee too much but I found it complimenting. True that the basic salad base is missing but I do not miss it, likely because of the lack of a greasy feeling and the added chives.
Bread Rolls Hot, light, fluffy perfect. Golden brown top finish served with whipped butter.
Entrée Grouper and scallop/shrimp white sauce topping. Perfect presentation and preparation, Grouper melted in my mouth, shrimp and scallops were tender.
Sides: seasoned broccoli - not overseasoned and is crunchy, cooked perfectly. Hushpuppies - light, non-greasy, fried to perfection.
Service Impeccable, my server Jose4 was well attending and on point. Non-bothersome as I create my report but welcoming and professional. Offered and provided a to go drink for my...
