So I went here to order from the “best breakfast rco” once walking in a waitress informed me that it’s an online store they deliver for I didn’t understand since I’ve never had this experience I was then told to place the order for pickup which I did DoorDash said the food would be ready in about 10-15 minutes I then left and came back about 20 minutes later to pickup my food as door dash said it was ready . I was informed that my food wouldn’t be ready for another 20 minutes which to me was outrageous as I didn’t order a lot . The waitress who told me this was super dismissive and didn’t explain why so I asked and she said in such an annoyed tone that “it’s Saturday we’re busy” not offering any kinda apology for it taking 40 mins ! When it shoulda been 15 minutes she then accused me of being rude to the original waitress I spoke to so i asked to then speak to the manager who was just walking in he seemed super confused i started telling him my concerns and he literally cut me off asking me what the issue is like how rude im telling him that his employee was super unprofessional and he’s asking why didn’t I just place my order inside so clearly they aren’t all on the same page concerning ordering process smh so while im telling him that i just want my food the two waitress walk up on either side of me super aggressive saying i was rude which in no way was i being rude to anyone maybe a bit snippy since it was taking 40 mins . So I felt super unsafe being surrounded by these clearly unhinged people and I ask that manager is that how he runs his store by allowing his employees to gang up on paying customers . He tells me to leave and literally is trying to put his hands on me which was uncalled for as I never even attempted to attack or physically harm anyone ! I don’t know if it was a race issue, or if it was just incompetence and unprofessionalism, but I spent money here for A long time via DoorDash … Had not known that this was the type of character behind the food. I would’ve never spent my money here moving forward me, and anyone that I know Whoever spent money here will no longer do so… They lost quite a few customers today with the Complete lack of customer service, and clearly common...
Read moreOverall, the atmosphere is very soothing and quiet. And the waiter was a sweetheart. I had the strawberry cream cheese French toast with a orange juice infused mimosa. My partner had the chocolate almond French toast, scrambled eggs, bacon, and a side of sausage with a strawberry lemonade infused mimosa. When the orders arrived, they'd forgotten his sausage lol. He eventually had to ask nicely for an order and the waiter apologized when she'd realized that he had already ordered sausage and just didn't receive it with the rest of his meal. As for me... My whole order was sadly a no-go. My partner ended up trading mimosas with me, 'due to my fear of getting the managers special for asking for a replacement', and he agreed that it did taste off as though something was wrong with the orange juice provided to make it. My French toast wasn't cooked all the way and was super soggy. The cream cheese was runny. I apologized to my other half for not eating seeing as it would be a waste. He sent it back for me and showed the waiter who agreed it wasn't fully cooked. More were made and this time they placed the cream cheese on the side. It was sadly still a huge no. This time it was super dry. No butter, and the syrup was off. My partners food looked more like two toasted brownies than French toast. He had me try his food trying to trade and make nice again. But he'd already sacrificed his good mimosa for my not so great one. I'd already felt horrible enough. So I decided to tough it out. He eventually leaned in and asked me to stop torchering myself lol. An I stopped trying to make nice with that dry toast immediately. He paid the $65.00 tab +tips and we left. He later threw everything up when we'd arrived home sadly. Which made me feel all the more horrible. He felt like it was the mimosa that caused the tummy uproar. Over-all I liked the atmosphere and the friendliness of the staff. The strawberry lemonade mimosa was definitely delicious. They could've been having an off day. I told my other half... I truly appreciated the experience, however...next time I'll make breakfast. He just smiled and kissed...
Read moreMeh. Average food. Just wasn't impressed.
The roast beef was dry, and the potatoes were super thick and stiff.
My wife found the Meatloaf completely unappealing and 75% of it went to the dogs
Probably won't return.
I frequently decline to order food out that I have never tried because food is too expensive to just try something.
For me, if I order a new meal and end up not being able to eat even one bite, I can't afford any do-overs. I just have to skip that entire mealtime.
Also, when selecting sides to both the Meatloaf plate and Roast Beef plates, for one side I could only choose a "Veg Option". The vegetables that were available were: Corn, Carrots, Broccoli, Spinach and Seasonal.
I dont want ANY of those options.
Why are you limiting people's choices and forcing them to pay for something they don't want?
I chose "No Veg" and I did not receive a discount for not having that side.
Why can't customers choose from a comprehensive Sides list?
This just feels controlling and greedy.
EDIT: To the owner that replied.
Yes, both the meatloaf and pot roast list vegetables as part of the meal. When I initially saw the two dishes on the menu, I didn't realize that my only choices for "Veg" would be the five items listed in my original review. There was no option to upgrade these veggies to a standard side, listed under the "Sides" menu.
So, both my spouse and I are rather disappointed that we couldn't choose a side from the "Sides" list instead of one of the five vegetable offerings.
I will not be back.
The food didn't taste good, and I don't want to pay for an item that I don't like instead of being able to substitute that item for a regular "Side" dish, even if there was an extra charge.
You now have one customers opinion on the "Veg" option.
If you continue to get similar opinions, then it might be time to evaluate how the online menu is set up and give customers...
