Tacos El Zamy — Restaurant in Bullhead City

My father in law recommended this place and we were not disappointed. It's a bit of a hole in the wall, so keep in mind you will be there for the food and not the atmosphere. Staff is super cool, and service was great. I live in So Cal and will hit this place up next time we head out to the river. The corn tortillas are amazing and have not encountered this taste since a trip to Mexico where a little old lady was king them in the back by of the restaurant. They either are homemade, or they have an amazing distributor. Burritos are served with cabbage instead of rice and beans so don't get the bogged down feeling. Carnitas was great, asada was great, and pastor was amazing. Had some guacamole on asada fries and it was the best guacamole I've encountered in a restaurant. Priced well too! Oh, and they have a type of creamy green salsa that they could bottle and make...

The carne asada tacos were decent and really liked the corn tortillas but I probably wouldn't come back here... The salsas, the pastor and chicken tacos are gross. The location is small and hot in summer, it looks kinda greasy and dirty, the place were they keep the salsas is open and there was flies all over those condiments. Also for the price the tacos were skimpy and the flavors way off to be pastor and chicken.... and I got a side of cebollitas that came in a dish soak with grease, totally unnecessary and some flavorless sauce, I believe it was 1.50 for that and at most they give you 4 again cheaping out... I came here cause I lot of people that are local swear this were some bomb tacos but I don't think they know what a bomb...

Terrible customer service Giving 0 stars isn’t a option or else i would Very rude the two people working i could see were very unapproachable one word answers and even argued when i asked for just carne asada as a side for my 7 year old was told i had to buy the whole plate with tortillas rice & beans etc which wasn’t an issue because i agreed but the old dude working the counter kept repeating himself in a rude demeanor so my husband kids and i walked out. This is a place my parents used to take me when i was a kid and we loved it. Such a shame we will never...
