My mom and I used to love Agaves pre-covid. The food used to be out of this world with the best margaritas to wash them down with.

Today we ordered for delivery, and her usual Chile Verde was shredded and soupy whereas before it was cubed chunks. Flavor was fine.

I was feeling like menudo and placed 2 orders. When it got here it was white? I guess white menudo is a thing, but not in the description and not what I was expecting. Flavor was very bland and they did not provide the onions, parsley, cilantro etc. Fed it to the pets.

I dont know if they've changed owners or cooks but we were really looking forward to dinner and were left lackluster. (Nachos were good!)

OK first the service is amazing! The food? Well we ordered the taco 🌮, Shredded pork,ground beef and chicken. Also Chili's Rellenos One with beans and rice and 1 without. The chips and salsa were OK served with both salsa and 🫘. The taco shells were cooked in old oil which gave them a poor taste, the meat was good portion but completely flavorless. The chilies rellenos looked delicious. The flavor was lacking in spice. Bill was $26 for 2 sodas, 3 tacos, 1 chilies . Not bad. Taco Tuesday 🌮

While we feel the food could have held more flavor, it was plated well and portions were generous. There is an upcharge for beans and rice. The service is 100% polite and attentive....

Love, love, love everything! We've been going here for years and years. Best taco Tuesday ever four meats offered. Big size tacos. My fav is ground beef. Hubby likes chicken. Great chips and salsa. They have great chili Rellanos too, I love the Ortega chili's in them. No Anaheim chili for me. Beans & rice great. Pretty much the best Mexican place in town. The prices are super good too. The only thing I'm sad about is they jacked up taco Tuesday from dollar tacos to double at $2 each. Huge jump disappointed that they didn't go up to,, $1.50 instead of double. I wish I could double my fixed income but this inflation is robbing us everywhere. Getting poorer by...
