Tractor Supply Co. — Local services in Bullhead City

Interesting experience today. Most of the employees were in the back doing ‘positivity training’ and I was taking a look at a 6k$ food dehydrator while I was waiting to be rung up for some routine dewormers for my horse. I opened the door of the display and was immediately, nastily told “you break it you buy it” from the crone at the desk. I respect elders greatly but I replied that i wouldn’t and was just browsing, that it wasn’t in my price range today, but I was interested in the future and needed to see the interior capacity since it’s…a display item. She told me “I don’t understand why people look at things they can’t afford”. I let her know I’ll stop looking then and make sure to get one elsewhere when the time comes. Maybe this was the employee that needed the positivity training more than anyone else, because every other staff member I’ve encountered for 3 years is perfectly pleasant except for her, including the guy that happily parades through the store making sure customers are finding what they need with ease. Everyone’s gotta eat, but why do people with this kind of attitude always choose customer service? I get Bullhead has a tough crowd, but attitude towards your regular customers that have never caused trouble is an odd choice. I love tractor supply, I am in tractor supply several times a week in Kingman, AZ where we live. I went into Tractor supply in Kingman today 2/23/2019 at approx. 1:30pm to buy dog food that I buy on a regular basis and they happen to be out of stock. So, I had the Lady in Kingman check with the Bullhead city store to see if they had any in Stock. They did so I decided to drive 40+ miles down to Bullhead to get the dog food. By the time I got there it was approx. 4:00pm, we checked out at 4:16pm I have never been treated so rudely in all my life. I didn't catch the guys name but I know he had tattoos on his arms and he was very Arrogant and very rude. He treated me like my wife and I were going to steal the dog food and everything else we bought and I bought $63.59 worth of stuff including 2 bags of dog food. My wife and I were so upset we almost decided to go back inside and just get a refund on everything we did buy. I am going to file a complaint with the BBB and the corporate office in Brentwood, TN as well, if this is the way you treat customers I will spread the word about how I was treated especially how my wife was treated and I will refuse to spend one more cent with Tractor Supply. Phenomenal service! Will be taking my business here from now on! All of the employees on Thursday at least are highly skilled in customer service and take the time to make sure that you don't have any inconveniences and if you do they are just as bothered with it as you are and do everything it takes to make sure that you leave with a smile on your face! :) I definitely hope that tractor supply is treating these employees well and values the work ethic that they have because it is not easy to come by and Bullhead City I managed two businesses and know this all too well.
