I am so happy I found this hidden gem while walking around on Magnolia Blvd. I was in the area for an event but arrived early so I decided to just walk around and see what shops were here. I stopped in front of this small stop and looked at their window display and saw that they were #1 for bread in Burbank according to Yelp so I knew I had to try it. When I walked inside, there was already 1 other guest in the store and she been there before. She was telling me about their bread and how she's going to travel soon so she wanted to take the bread with her. Patrick was the person helping me and he let me try their 3 different bread sample. On a rainy Saturday - my husband and I were on the hunt for some fresh bread to complete our grilled cheese/tomato soup craving. However after we arrived at Random Acts of Breadness we realized we were in for a lot more than just bread! The owners Randall & Cyndie couldn’t have been more generous with their time and attention - as a fellow baker - I loved the opportunity to see their set up and hear how they turned their passion into something so special! I'm astounded by the positive reviews for this place, which was the only reason I even considered shelling out a ridiculous $20 for a tiny loaf of bread in a ziplock bag. I've made better bread myself, and if I were making it myself, 2 loaves at a time using one dutch oven, I'd probably have to charge $20 a loaf, but a bread business shouldn't have to, and if they do, then the business model needs some work!
