Stop4shawarma — Restaurant in Burbank

Stumbled across this little gem in the same location as the 76 gas station/convenience store on the corner of Magnolia and Victory Blvd, in Burbank. Stopped by to pump gas and couldn't help to see all the food items menu on the windows. It was 7pm, had just left worked, was tired and hungry, and the food on pictures looked very good.(I love places that have pictures of their food, Lol) I decided to try the chicken shawarma plate. First of all i was very impressed that it took about the same time to have the food ready as it took me to fill up my gas tank! I believe it's Family owned, you can see the hospitality and warmth the Gentleman and (Son?) offered when i walked in to place my order. The place was very clean and inviting. Driving home i couldn't wait to start eating since the food smelled amazing! Upon tasting the food, i knew this place would definitely be my favorite! If you like Raffi's restaurant in Glendale, this place is very comparable, but much less pricier! I really like the fact that the sauces and chile peppers were separate from the food and not mixed in like other places. Best part was the huge portions for such a reasonable price, You can definitely get almost 3-4 portions from 1 order. Can't wait to try their other menu items! I've driven past this place many times on the way home and always wondered if I wanted to stop by. I decided to order from Stop4Shawarma through Grubhub and was pretty impressed! The lule kebab was juicy and flavorful. It was definitely the star of the meal. The rice was good and solid, just what I expected, cooked well. I also really enjoyed the Shiraz salad, probably one of the better ones I've had and it was seasoned well. Pretty sure I could eat a bowl of that on it's own. Maybe a touch more lime if possible. The addition of the jalapeños to the meal was, I thought, great. Gave the meal that spice that I love.

The meal included a small piece of pita bread and then 2 sauces, which was a nice touch even though it was a bit forgettable compared to the rest of the meal. Still, I appreciate the effort to round things out. Overall, this place is great, and I'd definitely recommend giving it a try. I'm already looking forward to ordering from them again and trying something new next time. To add something else, for the price, the amount of food you get is definitely filling and packaging of the food and all the items for this delivery...
