Polo's Cafe — Restaurant in Burley

We hadn't eaten here in a while. In the past we had always really enjoyed whatever we ordered. Today was disappointing. We both ordered items we'd had in the past. This time the food was bland. The refried beans were watery. The corn tortillas at least were very good. We also were ignored a bit by our waitress, who kept going to visit with other tables. When she brought our check, she didn't ask if we wanted anything else or ask if we wanted a box for my leftovers. My husband had to ask someone else for a box when he went to pay. This is a small cafe where you often find the locals. The owner is a wonderful gentleman that often meets and talks to the customers whenever there is a pause in the orders, especially when there are sports games on the TV to watch.
