Don't bother. I'll be honest, I've never had Dominos prior to last night. Why would I since we have the best pizza in the country here on the east coast? We ordered a few things and could not be more disappointed.
First, we ordered two pizzas. One of which they called us to tell us they did not have the components to make so we had to pick a secondary option. We also ordered the cinnamon twists, lava cake, and some apple topping for the twists. The total was around $50 which I felt was absurd. They have a $4 deliver fee which they state is to better serve us with their contactless methods. Apparently it doesn't go to the driver because then they ask you for a tip for the driver as well, which of course I give.
The pizzas were burnt and tasted terrible. The cinnamon crisps and lava cake were burnt as well. Aside for a bite of the cake, bite of the cinnamon crisps, and 1 slice per person for the pizzas, the rest went in the trash. We'd have been better off just throwing the $50 in the trash.
The delivery was a joke. First off, I live in northern Burlington. Daughter works over by Walmart. We received the text that our food was out for delivery. I made it to my daughter's work, picked her up, and made it back home long before our food arrived. Mind you, you have to pass the Dominos to get there. We received a text to "get ready" our food was about to arrive. We waited another 10 mins beyond that before it actually arrived.
I guess Dominos felt unsatisfied with their service because they gave me a 20% off my next purchase in my email without me even complaining / contacting them. As if I'm ever going to use them again. So that was pointless. If you don't believe my review, by all means, go ahead and use them. I'd recommend saving the money for a local mom & pop or use Little Caesars. I can't speak to the quality of Pizza Hut these days so didn't bother...
Read moreOrdered on the app c.1715 for delivery to 55+ apartment building. App reported pizza was delivered at 17.47. Looked all over facility. No-one seemed to have it. Phoned store at 18.15. First grouchy guy put me on hold for 15 minutes. Redialled. Second guy spoke to first guy who had recognised my phone number from the incorrect delivery and had put me on hold to avoid me. He said something in background about knowing it had not been delivered correctly (apparently handed it to some building employe who thought ‘free pizza’). First guy came back on and offered free pizza in 15 minutes. By then it was like 18.45. We were hungry and had already ordered something else from another shop by then. I told him to refund the payment (which included generous tip). He said okay and hung up.
BTW when reporting a problem the app offered choice of two free things as options ‘to make it right’ but did not include ‘refund payment’ so clicking ‘neither of these options’ meant I got nothing as compensation. I filed with the bank for a refund on the card (but that comes out of the bank, not the vendor).
Also the app gets you to include a tip at time of order. I will never do this again. No delivery = no tip. I’ll tip in cash when/if the order’s in my hand and on time.
I would not recommend this particular Domino’s to anyone. People like these have no concept of ‘customer service’ which is about SERVING the customer. Read moreI made a very simple order on Tuesday for salad for my lunch. My driver came to my job sat outside for awhile, did not call or come inside of the business, then drove away. This information I received from the security team that sits up front.
Thirty minutes after that, I received two back to back calls from the store telling me to call the driver because they were calling me but I wasn’t answering. Though I never had a call from them.
I returned the stores call and was connected to a very rude person who after a very brief conversation told me their was nothing they could do for me. If I want they could send the driver back and I can talk to them. Since it is my fault I didn’t get my order.
I was frustrated but I told them, feel free to send them back. I also asked if the driver could come inside so I can make sure they weren’t missed.
From my constant checking of my phone, looking outside every 5-10 minutes and security also keeping an eyes out for me. The driver never came back so I never got my order after more than an hour of waiting. I wasted my lunch going back and forth.
So, I called them back after I waited all this time to ask them to return my money since I never got my order and they said they would and we’re sorry for the inconvenience.
But it has been two days and I was charge for food I never received and my money hasn’t been returned. I have ordered from this location with no problems before.
