South Wah Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Burlington

I live in Pennsylvania but drive to Jersey just for South Wah's food. I've been going there since I was a kid. I tried other places in Pennsylvania, but it wasn't as good as south wah. Highly recommend.

I went to South Wah on the 17th of December in the late evening. There were only two people working; a man and a woman. I ordered shrimp fried rice and shrimp basket. The shrimp basket shrimp were cooked so hard that the shrimp were not edible. The shrimp fried rice was overcooked.

The two working were younger than the normal cooks (elderly). This is not like South wah to have bad food. Please keep the younger ones out of the kitchen until they learn...

The food and service isn't the same. Their wings are overcooked, tiny and greasy and they have a rude woman at the front counter with an attitude problem. They want to take our money for that slop but don't want to give you hardly any condiments and when you ask for extra they give you attitude. Well I'll go elsewhere from now on, lost a customer who has eaten here for years. Bad cook and rude...

I've been a patron for South Wah for 30+ years. Their meals and soups (Hot & Sour soup my fav.) are consistently tasty and served hot, ready too go. Portions size is good. Convenient access location, but parking can be tight. They will alter their standard meal prep. to satisfy your special request & accommodate the way you like a meal &...
