While my 2 star review is accurate. The 1 $ rating on Google is not since this place is pretty expensive. They have a billboard with all of the food items listed without prices. I asked if they had a menu with prices and then I understood the reason for the name Flippy's. The guy at the register was flippant! No, we don't have any since the prices change so quickly. he never offered to provide any should I even ask. That should have been my first clue to leave. The second was the sign stating no free refills. It is $1 per refill after the $2.60 cost for the first fill. I only learned that prices when I got the receipt since everything is kept secret.
My son and I both got the everyday "special" - 2 cheeseburgers and fries at $8 each. We then add another $5 for two fountain drinks and lunch was $22+ with tax.
Our burgers toppings were different since he didn't want pickles. Flippy's cook counterpart flops down a tray with 4 unmarked, wrapped burgers. I asked which ones have pickles and he pointed at 2 and said I think these two. As expected, he was incorrect. It was a mild inconvenience but was par for the course for the whole experience.

The melted Cheese had just enough "personality", yet was mild enough to blend famously with the Beef and the Bun.
I should say "perfect" one more time! (

My review of Flippys? I've only had gyros from here which have always been fairly good, except for the one I just ordered tonight. Gyro meat was dry, almost as if it was overcooked. Fries seemed old and soggy. My BF ordered the cod dinner - thankfully he said the fish itself was good, however, everything else was garbage. The "coleslaw" did not look like coleslaw nor smell like it, so it was tossed instantly. Paid almost $40 when I would have been MUCH more satisfied going down the road to McDonalds, quite honestly.
My family likes this place a lot and I used to be a fan of the gyro, until today's experience. From now on, I'll be advising people to go elsewhere and to not bother going here. Overpriced restaurant with low...
