Jimmy's Tekila Mexican Cuisine. — Restaurant in Burlington

Let me start by saying, I consider myself quite seasoned when it comes to real, authentic mexican food. I've been eating it since I was young without having come from Mexican decent. I've had the opportunity to explore the culture and as a result, the food also. This is the best, authentic mexican food in town. I grew up here, live here and have tried it all, except Jimmy's. Its on the North side of town and is bigger than it looks. I was sceptical but very glad I tried Jimmy's. I love Mexican food. This food made we want to do a "fat boy" dance as soon as I started eating it. I know y'all know what that looks like! The moment you start eating something that taste exactly like what you're craving. It was amazing. The staff was just the cherry on top. VERY friendly, informative and seemed to really care about whether or not I was there. From an AC native, and a lover of real mexican food, go here, eat, and form your opinion. 5 stars here!

UPDATE SINCE LAST POST JUNE 12 2025 DO NOT order burritos. Especially the steak ones. Its salty steak wrapped in a tortilla with marinara and mozz cheese on top? We were so excited to eat there for the first time only to be waiting so long. We waited 8 mins for a waitress to serve us only for her to disappear and never come back. We called a different server and re ordered our drinks after getting out drinks we were waiting again after watching everyone else get acknowledged and served better. After being there for pst and hour we decided to leave after not receiving anything else or anyone else acknowledge us since ordering our food. My husband and I ate here last night first time ever. We loved the food. We both got mixed fajitas with chorizo added...tons of chorizo you didn't have to look for. We also ordered 6 hot wings, my husband eats reaper peppers, so Paul said he would make them extra hot. My husband actually thought they had heat and taste really good. I had house margaritas $5 each...they had a good flavor and alcohol. We'll definitely be back everything was great. All the people who work there are nice and keep checking...
