American Deli — Restaurant in Burlington

I usually come here every week, and never had an issue, but I came here 7/18/25 around 10:30 pm and I experienced a very awful situation, I waited at the speaker for my order to be taken for around 10 minutes then finally when I got to the window, I asked for 2 ranch with my 10 piece wings they gave me my food no sauce in the bag I asked the cashier who already had an nasty attitude and she said it was in the bag and I told her that there was no sauces in the bag and she said yes I put the sauces in there I took the food out and show her that there was no sauces then she stated that I have probably already took the sauces out, which it was very disappointing! I asked her what was her name, she didn't want to tell me her name, then I asked for the manager only to be disappointed, he barely knew English and was very rude he took the cashier side, refuse to give me my sauces I asked him for his name and he also refused to provide he's name, very disappointing!!! I will never be back here.. I really hope they can fix the management and staff, food is great but customer service is a 0 star. Is very disappointing with the young pretty lady but very rude, and idk if the manager should be in a position where he can't communicate correctly...

THIS PLACE HAS REALLY GREAT FOOD, BUT THEY HAVE ONE BAD APPLE, THAT WORKS THERE, SHE'S BEEN THERE I KNOW SINCE LAST YEAR, SHE'S SO UNPROFESSIONAL AND SO RUDE, I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT I WANT AND I KNOW HOW TO ORDER, HOWEVER SHE SEEMS TO ENJOY CUTTING ACROSS YOU INTERRUPTING YOU WHEN YOU'RE SPEAKING, EVEN WHEN YOU MENTION THAT SHE'S CUTTING ACROSS YOU, SHE IMMEDIATELY DOES IT AGAIN, AS IN SHE'S DOING IT ON PURPOSE AND FOR SPITE. SHE WAS IN THE DRIVE-THRU TODAY AUGUST 8TH 2020 BETWEEN 2:50 P.M. AND 3:10 PM, there was not any other cars in the drive thru. SHE KEPT CUTTING ACROSS ME WHILE I PLACED MY ORDER, AFTER I PAID FOR MY ORDER, SHE NEVER THANKED ME, SHE JUST SHUT THE WINDOW VERY HARD AND WALKED AWAY, SHE SEEMS TO BE A REAL UNHAPPY BULLY IN LIFE. SHE IS A POOR REPRESENTATION FOR THIS BUSINESS. The American deli in Burlington nc. Has to be the worst place to eat ever. Myself and my wife walked in the restaurant had a funky smell like dirty mop water. They also had the music so loud you could barely hear someone talking to you. So we ordered two steak and cheese subs, the guy at the register could not speak English very well, nor could we really understand him. That should have been my note to leave but we ordered and stayed. So we got the food. That had to be the worst steak sandwich I ever had in my life. It was almost a whole green pepper on my sandwich. The steak was not seasoned at all. The fries were not cooked all the way. They didn't have any sweet tea available. We tried to eat what we could but mid way thru eating we gave up, it was just to unbearable. The sandwich got more disgusting with every bite. It cost us 22 dollars for this disgusting meal.
