Always the best doughnuts in the country. Sean the owner has been around for decades, recently opening the Burlington store in a great easy access location. Not as busy as he would like as he also is involved with the Bellingham location which has been standing tall in the community since 1984. I recall going there as a child and have many memories. The recipes haven't changed and the kind service is a bonus to these delicious traditional style doughnuts, my favorites being a Maple Bar, custard Bismark, Apple Fritter and the best buttermilk bars in the world. They just melt in your mouth. Thankful they are still going after all these years. From the perfectly glazed classics to the fun, sprinkle-covered treats, everything here is worth trying. The apple fritter was heavenly, the maple bar had just the right sweetness, and the pink sprinkle donut made my day brighter (and my kids’ too!).

The last time I was there was at the end of September. I went there to get doughnuts for my daughter's birthday. Unfortunately after waiting about 20 minutes to get my order filled the power went out and they didn't have a backup generator and the register wouldn't work. I was disappointed because the reviews I had seen were great. The appearance of the doughnuts were a little on the sloppy side but I drove out of my way and still wanted to see if the taste at least lived up to the hype.
