McDonald's — Restaurant in Burnsville

Service is okayish if you go during the day but don't ever go at night. I work nights right down the highway from this location and since this is the only place open after 1am I go here once a week I would say. I have had COUNTLESS times where I've waited a solid 10-15 minutes for my order and that's if I can even get them to even answer the drive thru speaker! I can remember at least 5 times where I'm sitting in the drive thru for over 5 minutes yelling at them if they can hear me and not a single answer back so I end up driving off because I don't have all day on my lunch break. I had an incident just tonight where the cashier was taking someone's order across from me in the drive thru (i had already been in the drive thru for close to 5 minutes listening to this conversation unfold waiting for someone to take my order) and the cashier couldn't understand the customer wanted 2 cheeseburgers so they told the customer that their system was down and no longer could serve anyone, the customer yelled at the screen and drove off. Meanwhile, I'm still sitting in the drive thru and the next car pulls up behind the customer that just drove off and the cashier begins to take their order before mine😡😡😡 so I continue to try to get them to answer me with no prevail. Went late sun night/Monday morning (1:30am). Waited at the drive-thru for 5 minutes and No one said anything. Went to the window. As another car was pulling away and the person working turned away another customer who was driving a semi just looking for food but couldn't fit through drive thru so he walked to the window but stood more than 10 feet away from the window. The lady (looked like a manager by uniform) said "hello" in a very bad attitude. I looked at her shocked and she said "did ya order" I said no I've been waiting no one answered. She said "no I can't take your order at the window. You have to drive around and wait for me to answer" my husband said "we waited 5 minutes and you didn't answer" meanwhile the parking lot had not been plowed and 4 inches of snow. I'm not driving all the way back around for you to make me wait 5 more minutes while I have 2 hungry kids in the car as were we stuck at a shop giving my car for hours! She started repeating herself and I said no I'll go somewhere else. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Just her attitude makes me never want to go there again! I used to work at a few different McDonald's and that is NOT how you treat a customer. Not to mention if you are hearing impaired (which I am) you are allowed to just drive to the window and be able to order...

The hours change frequently. They are definitely not open 24 hours. It’s best to go from 5am to 10pm. The drive thru is not open 24 hours. The lobby is not open 24 hours. They should atleast change it online as well. Management is obviously lacking or else we wouldn’t be waiting 20 or more minutes in line just for a soda and some French fries. I’ve worked at McDonald’s before and It’s not that hard to make the food honestly. It’s not hard to dump two bags of fries quick and slap some patties on the grill. Why, is it so easy you ask? Because the damn grill cooks the patties for you!!! Everything is on a timer!!! Why are they so god damn slow? All the tools are there for them, and it’s so damn simple. It just depends on the workers they hire. Lazy pot heads won’t get you very far in a business in my opinion. The service is terrible but they’ve never got my food wrong surprisingly.
