I ordered 5 blizzards all chocolate except for one. When my daughter took a bite of hers she said mom this isn't chocolate(not to mention the ice cream was beige in color not chocolate). So I stayed at the drive through window waiting to get someones attention. Cody the supervisor finally opened the window after I had to honk the horn, knock on the window, honk the horn, knock on the window (he was to busy chatting with some brunette). I explained that the heath blizzard didn't appear to be chocolate & he said I didn't order it that way. I started to say that I had ordered it with chocolate....bam he closes the window and walked away. I turned to my husband and said is he making another one?....so we sat there waiting, until Cody again came back to the window and said anything else? I said yeah I'd like this one to be remade with chocolate. Cody grabbed it from me and told me that I will have to wait around the other side.
This time a girl comes out...Taylor, the manager...here ya go (I already had two blizzards in my hand at that time) and I said; hang on none of them were labeled so were trying to figure this out. Taylor replied, well we don't label them unless the customer asks. Now she said this to me while walking away from my car and in a snippy, disrespectful manner. I asked her, I'm sorry did I do something to you? Taylor's replied, well I was just told you were very rude sooo.....
I said I was rude? Who said I was rude? Taylor proceeds to say "they" said you were rude. I get out I go inside and ask all the employees behind the counter, excuse me I was just told I had been rude to someone, I'd like to speak to "them". Cody turns around and said, yeah you were very rude! I asked what his name was, Cody, he said. I say I wasn't rude, you just shut the door in my face while in the middle of my sentence. He said well you quit talking and I have stuff to do so yeah I walked away.
Now he & I continued this argument all the while the manager Taylor just stood there letting this all go down. I even said to Taylor, are you just going to stand there and let this happen? Taylor said well I can't control what peoples actions are for instance your not going to stop arguing and leave are you....
I have 18 years on these kids and more than 23 years experience in PR work as well as a variety of managerial levels and skills. I for one, if this was my store; put them both on probation, cut their hours and require they both retake employee training along with an essay explaining the many different ways they could have handled this situation.
The kids today have a grandiose complex...that inner voice just can't seem to get through. This kid and his side kick have rough roads ahead of them if this is how they utilize their customer service and social skills. I even said to Cody one day when you have kids and some smart ass behind the counter treats you this way you get it...he just laughed at me. I asked how old are you? Cody said 19 I said I have 18 years on you and 23 years of PR...Cody interrupted me to say, I don't care and laughed again at me. Well Cody & Taylor...just a piece of advice, when you act like that toward other people and your head is shoved so far up that black hole, that your voice of reason is suffocated by your infantile me myself I attitude, you may be conducting a portrait of what it look like to be unemployed...that person you spoke & treated so poorly, just may be a secret shopper.
Update: The whole crew have...

Read moreHoly Cow! Dairy Queen on S. Saginaw should absolutely be ASHAMED of themselves for their size & price of their cheese curds. WOW! Let me remind you too, that the tiny box wasn’t even filled up either. All for the high price of $4.59. Let me be the first to complain about the owners being the most skimpiest of skimpy. This is shameful to be honest. I most definitely will NOT be EVER ordering the cheese curds from this location again. Also, the DQ on Center Rd. actually gives you way more too. This DQ on S. Saginaw also highly UNDERPAYS their employees also. This just goes to show you that the owners are most definitely tightwads. That’s SO out of pocket and also weird to overprice their food & not even fill their food box up either. It’s also super weird to underpay their employees too. DO BETTER Dairy Queen on S. Saginaw. I know from personal experience that the owners, whenever confronted, have an attitude and they never want to redo their...
