NYC street food — Restaurant in Burton

Ordered for the first time tonight. It was good. I got the goat curry which was really really good (note: it is traditional so there will be bones). I wish the curry was just a tad spicier but the flavor was on point. Interestingly, the flavor profile really reminded me of Persian foods like Ash and Fesen Jaan. It has that cinnamon subtlety to the profile. So good.

My roommate got the butter chicken. This one was a bit of a let down (and the only reason for the drop of a star on "food"). It was very tomato based. You could put it on pasta and be just fine. It was still good, but not what was expected under the label "butter chicken". The one thing I would recommend overall is more rice. Could definitely use a bit more rice to use all the main dish.

We'll DEFINITELY be returning here because the food is good and we'll probably try a different culture next time around just for the variety.

The service is amazing. They are so kind. Even if the food wasn't as good as it is, I would still return here just for how amazing they are.

I can see myself becoming a regular.

EDIT/UPDATE ADD: GET THEIR BACON CHEESEBURGER! First, their fries are seriously the best around. But the Bacon Cheeseburger (add jalapenos) couldn't have been more perfect. If you like jalapenos, get your burger here. They use FRESH jalapenos... not that pickled crap! Also, their baby shrimp is amazing! PERFECTLY done.

My first time trying their food my guy ordered us the chicken curry with rice. The flavors were so amazing I had to try them again. My second visit was also a great experience. It's a family owned and operated business. Their customer service and cleanliness is outstanding. The daughter took my order and was so nice and sweet. The husband even stepped to the sink to wash his hands and said hello to my cousin and I. I conversed with the wife the entire time I was waiting for my food and she explained different things on the menu. We even had a small personal conversation. There is one small two-seater table looking out the window where you can sit to wait for your food but there is no in store dining. The food was not that great but the lady who checked me out was super nice. She chatted me up and explained to several menu items to me. They had some cherry pies on display and I ordered one but forgot to get it so I can't tell you if it was good but it sure looked good. The rest of the food was not that great. I got catfish and it was very fishy The black stuff was not trimmed off of it and they say they make their own batter which had no flavor.
