I have been doing business with these guys for years off and on and always had really good interactions and experiences however, most recently it seems they have decided to take a different approach to customer service. I simply called to inquire about a quote and the owner got extremely defensive and nasty. I was hung up on multiple times, yelled at and to top it off, told that my number would be blocked. I did nothing more than try to negotiate a little and the owner got very vile and angry. I was not rude in the slightest and did not raise my voice even slightly. This shows a great deal of immaturity on the owners part and clearly a lack of customer service skills. I will not be back and would recommend going elsewhere if you don't enjoy being talked to in such a way or being hung up on over nonsense. If I could rate 0 stars, I would.
( Side Note ) : Items were sold elsewhere the same day. :) I never actually needed to sell but, apparently there is a GPU shortage soo, it wasn't super hard finding another buyer. lol
Edit and Response to Owner : Firstly I would like to say that I did not and would not " Demand " you or anyone else give me anything. I did not say at any time that I would like to return or demand you buy back anything. I mentioned that the item was purchased from you yes. I also mentioned that I did not expect anything close to what was payed and that you could test the items to your hearts content prior to purchasing. I did not even get a chance to negotiate or speak further because after this enraged and seemingly unstable representative herd me even begin to propose a counter offer, he got extremely defensive and began his first of many outraged phone hang ups on a customer. There was no " Several " times of being told anything other than, the representative angrily yelling " DON'T CALL BACK! I WILL BE BLOCKING YOUR NUMBER! " I could literally not say a word before I herd it hang up. This representative I might add, claimed to be the owner multiple times. So either you are lying about who you are because you are embarrassed for acting in such a terrible way to a customer and being called out for it or, you are OK with employees impersonating you and treating long time returning customers in this way. I would also like to note that your employee made no mention of being busy and if he was soo busy, I would assume speaking like he did in front of customers within the store isn't a super great way to represent a small business that most likely runs off of mostly return customers and word of mouth to survive. If you are in any way justifying his behavior, you sir are part of the problem. This whole thing in your mind has most likely dissolved into a he said, she said type of scenario and aren't interested in hearing any truth because that would mean admitting to these terrible things which won't look any better than the either naĂŻve or outright lying you are currently doing. So I will end with this. I will not be back and I will not and can not recommend this establishment in any way, shape or form to anyone who value customer service. Save your money and go somewhere that actually knows how to treat people...
   Read moreThis review is more of an "PSA". I dropped off "Laptop #1" in April 2021 for an overhaul. Josh? Jacob? Justin? graciously let me know what the problem was and yes, they could fix it. I picked up the refurbished laptop about a week later and it worked great (or so I thought). Since everything seemed fine, I dropped "Laptop #2" (a gift for my Mom) off for the same overhaul. It wasn't until May that I realized "Laptop #1" didn't read the sandisk drive...no problem, I had other means to read the cards and I thought they might fix it when I went in to pick up "Laptop #2". I called and talked to "one of the J's" about picking up Laptop #2 (to which he explained what they did to it and said no problem) and let him know about the drive error (to which he said they'll fix it, no problem). Life got extremely busy for me (I'll admit that/take responsibility) and I wasn't able to pick up Laptop #2. Since I was going to visit my Mom, I went in last week to pick up Laptop #2 and have them look at the non-working drive in Laptop #1. I'm not sure who fixed the drive error but they let me know they had "disposed" of Laptop #2 because their policy is to "dispose" of items after "so long" if they're not picked up. (Which I had no idea about because I wasn't given this policy at the time I dropped either one of the laptops off.) Compounding matters, the 256GB SSD/SATA 2.5 fried two days after they installed the driver for the sandisk drive on 11.10.21. Is this review coming from anger? No...I'm just deeply disappointed. So, lesson learned: Get all policies in writing at the point of drop off. (The tech I am using now gives a very detailed description of their policies and potential work...

My computer tanked yesterday. Before that my laptop tanked. I let that sit and collect dust for a year or so while I used the one that just tanked. These guys combined the 2 into one new (rebuilt by them, new for me) computer. They also fixed my laptop.
Like most, I needed my computer fixed yesterday. They installed Windows 10 and took care of all those privacy things. Great service. Excellent price. I'm not savvy enough to know people's computer needs, but I'd at least give these guys a call before I went to Best Buy or one of those type stores. If you don't need a brand new computer with the latest of everything, Computer Junkies is certainly worth a look.
For what it's worth, my laptop from Best Buy crashed the very first time I tried to use it. I got the blue screen. They were willing to fix it, but wouldn't exchange it. After a hassle they did finally agree to exchange it. So much for that buying experience and a happy new purchase. Then the thing lasted 6 months. I wish I knew about these...
