I come to this location often and the food is usually good but on some occasions they have forgotten a side 2 or 3 times and on one rare occasion forgot an entire burger however my main complaint is with the worker named Todrick, it does not Matter if I'm 1 foot away and still looking at the menu or 4 to 5 feet away sitting while looking at the menu, he will stare into my soul and when there are no other customers he will wait there and repeatedly and annoyingly ask if I'm ready every 10 seconds. Whenever he is working he never smiles and always looks annoyed. I have noticed that the occurrences where my order is wrong or something was forgotten is whenever he works. The most recent incident were I felt disrespected and sabatoged by him was today and a few days before. the first incident i had ordered onion rings as a side and there were only 4 in my little cup yet I had ordered a large. The 2nd time a few days later he used a fake bill detector on a 20 dollar bill I used which was weird considering I'm a regular and the bill was not very large, and to nobody's surprise the bill was real. Then when I returned home and I opened the bag and began to eat I noticed the olive burger i ordered had no olives. I'm not sure if Todricks attitude, unprofessionalism and his tendency to mess up orders most likely on purpose is a result of bad training or if he truly does not care about custome service but it is clear he is not fit for his job. Whether anyone agrees or disagrees does not Matter to me all I know Is i will no longer frequent this...
Read moreMy husband and I came through last night and ordered 2 Boston coolers, a small black Raspberry shake to try and a large cheese curds to share. As we decided at the window to order the cheese curds, we were asked to pull to a parking spot to wait, which was no problem. We got the coolers and shake and pulled over to the spot. Since the shake was new to us, that was what we tried first. Even though it was a dark reddish/purple, which was expected based on the flavor, there was absolutely no other black raspberry indication. The entire shake was vanilla flavoring. But since we finished the shake, I said it was best to not ask for a refund at that point, but to at least let them (HB workers) know to check the flavoring or whatever so they might not have other upset customers. Upon the worker coming out with the cheese curds, I told the gentleman very politely "Hey. Just so you know, you guys might want to look into however you guys make your shakes. We had the black Raspberry and it only tasted like vanilla." And the only thing this guy had to say was "Ok." No apology of any sort! Again, I didn't expect nor ask for a refund, but at the very least, I/we could've gotten a "Oh, sorry about that!" Or "Thanks, we'll look into it!" But "Ok?!" I just found that quite dismissive. And for the price (almost $23 for what we ordered) I'd...
Read moreThe man at the front had some serious trouble taking orders. I approached the front and was not greeted, just his frowning expression. I ordered a number 1 with nothing different. The only word uttered by the man at the kiosk was "name?". The next guest tried to substitute a milkshake for one of their drinks and it turned into a 5-7 minute fiasco where the guy just blankly stared at the screen and never got help, all while my meal sat on the tray counter getting colder. The line has begun to wrap out the door. Finally, someone from the back called out my meal, which was the female version of my name that the guy at the front, I believe, put down as a little "ha-ha" it's the wrong name. I get it, working fast-food can be life-sucking. But the burger was just okay and the fries were cold by then. I really want to like Halo Burger, I will give it another chance next time I'm around.
Edit: I actually emailed the email they gave me in their response. I honestly didn't want anything but was willing to give another star back because of the extra effort. It's been a few months and I have heard literally nothing. I even copied and pasted this exact review in the email. Seems dis-ingenuous of the company to say "reach out" and then not respond when you actually do. Or, the email could have just gotten lost...
