Patty's Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Butler District

I’ve eaten at Pattys dozens of times. As of lately it seems the food quality and wait service is getting progressively worse. Today I had thee worst restaurant experience of my life. I came in around 9:15am to Patty’s it’s a little full there are about 6 other tables ahead of me most have their food already. As I’m waiting to have my drink order taken a few other folks walk in and have a seat at the remaining tables. I’ve had this happen once or twice before especially in small diners when there is 1 person waiting tables, I was skipped over and took the order of one of the tables that came after me. No big deal but then it happened to the next two tables who sat around the same time of the people that she skipped me for. This is where I should have left but I thought that’d be rude and the food would make up for the waitresses terrible situational awareness. So finally I get to order last. I got 2 over easy eggs, bacon and hashbrowns easy order right? The food looked amazing eggs cooked to order, bacon perfectly done. So I start eating my breakfast I ate one egg 🥚 and one piece of bacon 🥓 and half of my hashbrowns. Because it’s been over an hour of waiting for me food and having a cup of coffee I had to use the restroom to pee. So I left my less than half eaten breakfast on the table and proceed to use the restroom. I come out and guess what my breakfast is gone, taken away and thrown in the trash. I was livid my check was on the table and I went and paid. Didn’t say a word left angrily, I am now home eating breakfast again after wasting my time and $$$. My lovely bride and I were treated to a Wonderful brunch today at Patty's. I had the 2 egg, hash browns, bacon, and English muffin breakfast. It was absolutely delicious. 6-4-2023. After church today, I took my lovely bride to Patty's for lunch, and what a wonderfully delightful experience we had. Stephanie greeted us and asked for our drink order; she brought menus and took our orders after bringing our drinks. I ordered the Beef and Lamb Wrap, which was magnificent. It consisted of very delicious Gyro meat with tomatoes, feta cheese, onion, and lettuce on a large flour wrap. The Gyro meat was some of my best in the area. The meal also came with pickles and homemade potato chips, which were out of this world! Stephanie provided excellent service as she checked on us several times. The cost of our meals was very reasonable. I highly recommend Patty's and our server, Stephanie, to family and friends. We will return before going back to...

Was on a Hidden Gems of WV website and found Patty's in Weirton. Drove from Wheeling to give it a try. The French burgers with their special sauce, grilled onions and toasted french bread was very good. Also had their beer batter fries which were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The bacon cheeseburger was also very good, the bacon was thick and crispy and the tomato was fresh and good. Our waitress was very nice and friendly and kept an eye on the table for refills and such.
