Pizza Ranch — Restaurant in Butte

I would give zero stars if I could! Went with family on July 1 2022 around 7 pm. Service was terrible hospitality was terrible, manager was rude, not professional and didn’t care about complaint or people in my opinion she flat out lied to us, asked her if any pizza’s were going to be brought out (only a few old pieces of pizza on buffet at that time) or should we order she said yes in about 5 minutes I asked will there be pepperoni for the kids she answered yes pepperoni in in 5 minutes so we waited salad bar salad needed to be restocked lettuce was down to bottom on both salads and wilted but it never got stocked chicken was dry like warm and needed to be fresh but never brought anymore out a employee did pack up a Togo order out of buffet while my sister waited for a piece employee left a couple dried out wings 😑 I thought customers came first I feel sorry for person that ordered chicken and receiving old buffet chicken instead of fresh! By the way we just got there our Family party was one tab 3 seniors and 2 adults second tab 2 adults 6 children if they were closing or wanting early start on closing they should have just told us we would have gladly went elsewhere. There was No icecream or desserts for kids only thing I can say they did bring out cheesy bread great for a dinner everything else was a disappointment 😑 I did complain to manager she could have offered our money back or to make desserts and pizzas the only thing she said was no we are not making anymore rudely the pizza they will put out in the 5 minutes she said! And when came out it was a sausage or beef pizza maybe they made for themselves and a cheese type not worth paying their price for very disappointing in staff management and whole experience! I came here a month ago it was nice but must have changed staff! We went to Pizza Ranch today because my grandson got a discount as it was his birthday. That is the only enjoyment we had at that place. We paid our $9.50 for 3 lunches minus my grandson birthday discount. First thing we noticed there wasn't any gluten free anything besides the salad. So my daughter asked if anything was gluten free. Which there wasn't so in order to get a gluten free pizza she would have to pay $10.75 over the $9.50 for the buffet pricing. So she just said no to the gluten free pizza. The 2nd problem was the flashing blue light. My daughter has a seizure disorder. I asked Don to turn it off. I told him flashing lights cause her to have seizures. He said he would when he could. Which wasn't soon. Then my daughter went up to Don & told him if he could please turn off the flashing blue light & he said he couldn't turn it off & she said fine I'll have a seizure. And Don said "I don't care" She complained to another worker about Don & he said "I'm sorry" & then he never even corrected Don. This place is a very inconsiderate uncaring place. We went there to celebrate my grandson birthday & it ended up nothing like a celebration. I just wish we could have given a zero on this place but the lowest we could...

Chicken was pretty good depending on the peice you got. The crust was awesome. The chicken was sometimes dry and over cooked. I did like the Buffalo sauce one too 😊.

The thick pizza crust was okay.... nothing to write home about, but edible. It was super soft and fluffy...so not a crisp pizza texture. The thin crust was nasty. My daughter called it pizza crackers.

The salad bar was alright. The potato wedges could have used more salt, but were good. The dessert pizza was also alright. Very much like pizza Cafe in Utah. Except that the ranch has fried chicken which was good...mostly.

We got there at 7pm. They look the doors and stop making fresh food at 8:30. I would say don't come after 7:50. Not worth the cost.

The fun zone arcade was great on MONDAY (every game is half off) still a little spendy compared to a nickle arcade but it was alright. Half the games were out of order and we kept having to ring a bell for someone to load a card to buy something (no one is constantly manning the counter). It was also filthy... like chewed up candy left on top of games........... so someone should definitely go clean every once in a while.

Otherwise we had fun and it was pretty easy to rack up...
