In town visiting family, and what a great spot for dinner! We were greeted warmly as we entered and taken care of attentively throughout the night (do keep in mind it was a Wednesday night, so not super busy). We ordered 2 steaks, the char broiled porkchops and chicken parm. The steaks were well seasoned and cooked to the desired doneness. Sauted vegetables were packed with flavor, thanks to a generous amount of seasonings and swimming in butter. Mashed potatoes were great, again well seasoned and full of flavor. Chicken parm was a good size piece of crispy chicken on top of a MOUND of pasta, all smothered in a rich and bold red sauce. Drinks were ordered as well. The Yom Collins unfortunately was missing the signature bubbles, but flavor-wise was a great palette cleanser for all the rich food. The seasonal huckleberry martini was a delight, sweet and tart. I look forward to my next visit, as I'm sure I will be back to the Club for dinner!

The drinks and food were amazing. We came on vacation from Washington, and where we live theres nowhere that has king crab on the menu, so when we saw that they have it, I just HAD to order it. Absolutely delicious and the butter dishes had a candle to keep the butter melted and warm, and the crab was absolutely effervescent. Tender and delicious. The steak was cooked perfectly, and a surprising highlight from the seafood platter was the parmesan garlic halibut. Immaculate. I'm used to there being a very small amount of the seasoning on the fish, but this was absolutely LOADED with the stuff, and it was exquisite. The atmosphere was high energy, and our server was very attentive despite being a Saturday night during peak times. We only had a 10 minute wait for a 4-top, and the staff were very kind. Will definitely be stopping by next time I come through Montana!

Very nice restaurant. Food, service and atmosphere are excellent! The only problem we had was that we felt rushed out of there. Shortly after we got our plates and started to eat, our waitress came up a few short minutes later and asked us if we would like a couple of to go boxes. It made us feel like we couldn't just chill for a bit and enjoy our lunch there in the restaurant. She did offer us dessert tho before offering us to go boxes for our food. I don't think we were even there a whole half hour. Is it standard for this restaurant to rush customers out in a short period of time like this? Oh, and most restaurants like this bring water with menus. I had to ask for a glass of water.

Great food, but the music could have been chosen more tastefully... 2p in the afternoon made it feel like I was in some hip hop night club getting tipsy... Very sad, for when I asked to change the music the manager said they didn't have the power to do so... that the playlist came from corporate... I was flabbergasted to say the least... I'm not even 40yr yet... And is still prefer to hear something more mellow but classic.. just some to name a few.... Dolly Parton, "Jolene"

The Charlie Daniels Band, "The Devil Went Down to Georgia"

Loretta Lynn, "Coal Miner's Daughter"

Hank Williams, "Hey Good Lookin' "

Randy Travis, "Deeper Than the Holler"

Barbara Mandrell, "I Was Country When Country Wasn't Cool"

Emmylou Harris, "Born to Run"

Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings, "Mammas Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up to Be Cowboys"

Johnny Cash, "Ring of Fire"

Kenny Rogers, "The Gambler"

Rascal Flatts, "Fast Cars and Freedom"

Old Crow Medicine Show, "Wagon Wheel"

Tim McGraw, "Where the Green Grass Grows"

Brooks & Dunn, "Red Dirt Road"

Allman Brothers Band, "Midnight Rider"

John Denver, "Take Me Home, Country Roads"

Keith Urban, "Days Go By"

Chris Stapleton, "Traveller"

Alabama, "Dixieland Delight"

Maren Morris, "My Church"

The Marshall Tucker Band, "Can't You See"

Alabama, "Song of the South"

Zac Brown Band, "Chicken Fried"

Kid Rock, "All Summer Long"

Garth Brooks, "Friends in Low Places"

Toby Keith, "Should Have Been a Cowboy"

Kenny Chesney, "I Go Back"

David Lee Murphy, "Dust on the Bottle"

Jimmy Buffet, "Margaritaville"

Little Big Town, "Boondocks"

George Strait, "All My Exes Live in Texas"

Pure Prairie League, "Amie"

Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, "Fishin' in the Dark"

Keith Urban, "Somebody Like You"

Brothers Osborne, "Stay a Little Longer"

Blake Shelton, "Honey Bee"

Brooks & Dunn, "My Maria"

Brett Eldredge, "Beat of the Music"

Kip Moore, "Hey Pretty Girl"

Thomas Rhett, "Die a Happy Man"

Again, these are just some titles... Remember, you don't have to have the latest albums... Just good ole music that most people know the words or...

I am never a person to talk badly on an establishment or service, however, the way we were treated this evening was unacceptable. My family and I ordered food to go, my husband waited over an hour to pick up our food. When he did and returned home, we were missing several items from our order, including our receipt. He went back to the restaurant and called before going there, and put him on hold several times. When he got there, they handed us our missing items and did not even apologize. While on the phone waiting to talk to the manager to express our frustrations, the manager laughed it off like it was no big deal. She was willing to give us a refund for the item we were missing (not the meal), but again we did not get an apology for how we were treated. The manager then hung up on my husband. I called back and asked if it was the same manager who hung up on us, and when I asked for her name she hung up on me again. We will not be giving the Montana Club in Butte our business again. This is not the first time something like this has happened to us when ordering food to go. Every time we have ate at the restaurant, we have been treated excellent and the food was always good. But when we have ordered food to go it is a different story. Just a suggestion for people who go there frequently and pay good money, it would be nice to be treated right by the management and...

While service has been, and still is great, unfortunately, food quality has gone from pretty good, to OK, to pretty bad, to some of the worst I've eaten.

My wife had the salmon and it looked like, and had the same texture as if, it were pre-cooked and reheated, many of the other dishes I've had the last few times also seemed this way.

I understand restaurants do varying degrees of pre-prep for food, obviously for example, if one orders lasagna, that cannot be prepared to order in a reasonable time frame. There are also some things that don't suffer much quality loss if made well in advance, like many sauces, chili or even taco meat for some examples... but the prices at the Montana Club are way to high to justify the amount of pre-cooking and the relatively poor quality ingredients.

For a fraction more, much better food is available at Casagranda's... and for much less, great quality (though supposedly less fancy) food is available from the Hanging Five.

Again, the staff have always been excellent, so it pains me to be leaving this review, but I don't think we will dine at or recommend the Montana Club again, unless food quality makes a substantial improvement,...
