China Kitchen — Restaurant in Byram

I decided to try them tonight. I spent $30 on food for my mother and I to share and hopefully find a new spot to enjoy. Im extremely disappointed. I didn't enjoy one single item ordered. These are things I order anytime I eat Chinese.

Egg Foo Young - no flavor/ gravy tasted like flour

Pepper Steak - I couldn't chew the meat / no flavor / sauce minimal

Wontons - Just plain nasty

Shrimp Fried Rice - looked like precooked shrimp/ yellow rice

Boneless Ribs - a little tough but flavor was at least there

Im left with this irritating after taste...

Had chicken wings with rice. Whole wings was a delite compared to half wings, the rice was slightly on the dry side and lacked efficient seasonings and vegetables. The wait time was less than expected. Also tried shrimp fried rice, not enough shrimp in the dry rice. They were kinda skimpy on the condiments. This was my second attempt to try the food here. The first time I ordered on line, and even though I could show them a confirmation number they said they didn't get the order and there'd be a 30 minute wait. I didn't have time, so went to work hungry. The second time I did get my food, which was okay but not what I was expecting. Kung Pao without red chili peppers? And all piled on top of the rice rather than packed separately. Not terrible, but...
