El Dorado Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Byram

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant but this establishment has slightly different take on Mexican than others in the area. I really enjoy the fresh chip and salsa. Salsa seems to be hand made and has a great taste. Chips are thin and are salted with a paprika? blend. I also really enjoy the cheese dip but friends of mine don’t like it as much as other restaurants. Their cheese dip has a lighter taste (which I like!) unlike heavier varieties found at other Mexican locals, however they could use more salt. If I could give this restaurant 10 stars, I would without a second thought. In this place they welcome you like at home, they are super friendly, the service is excellent, the speed with which the food comes out is a plus and the taste of the food... EXQUISITE!!! It used to be our favorite place, but on too many occasions they've let us down by posting "closed" sign on the door during their normal business hours. When you're bringing family and guest there to eat after being a regular customer for several years, it's embarrassing to meet there and then have to scramble to find another place without have to drive another 30-45 minutes.
