Steak Escape — Restaurant in Byram

This is an honest review of the Byram Mississippi Steak Escape that I just sent on the "Contact Us" page on Steak Escape 's website:

"Hi! I want to give a glowing review of the Steak Escape that my husband, sister and I went to in Byram, Mississippi today. I consider myself a Foodie, and the the food there is absolutely amazing! I had the Black and Bleu sandwich, and omg, it's the best sandwich I've had in a long time! I love the uniqueness of the ingredients and flavors together! I also had the Loaded Fries, and those are incredible as well! It's been many years since I've been to a Steak Escape, but I believe the food at the one in Byram is even better than the one at Northpark Mall in Ridgeland, Mississippi! I also love the atmosphere at the Byram store! And the staff is wonderful and friendly! My husband, sister and I got to talking to the manager, Trina, and we had a delightful conversation with her! Her outlook on running a restaurant is exactly what I would want in a manager, if I had my own restraunt. This was my first time at this restaurant, but after my interaction with some of the employees, and the manager, it feels like a place that I would actually want to work at, and it definitely made me want to come back and visit again! It felt calm, welcoming, and the employees seem like they actually enjoy being there. 😊 Which brings me to the cook there, Nick. I stood at the counter watching him cook our food, and I was actually captivated by watching him work the griddle! He is an excellent cook! And seeing his skills with the tools while he was shredding the meat, adding all the other ingredients, and making the sandwiches, felt like I was watching a seasoned pro! It actually made me want to go stand by him at the grill, and have him teach me how to do what he does! lol I LOVE to cook, and I love learning new cooking skills and techniques! 😊 And Christian is the young man who took our order. He seems a litte quiet, but he was really nice, and does his job really well, also! 😊 In closing , I want to say that the Steak Escape in Byram, Mississippi has become my new favorite sandwich restaurant, and I believe it, and it's employees and manager, Trina, are a great asset to your company! And I believe they deserve some type of award and/or reward ! I look forward to my next visit to this particular restaurant! 😊

well i tried to support black owned or partnered businesses but this location is not it. had the order wrong so i turned around, went in to get it corrected …...went inside , let the manager know it wasn’t fixed correctly.. opening up the sandwich, i showed her …i even wrote down on my own paper how i wanted it and gave it to her she told me to throw the sandwich away and wait on a new one and i did ..Crazy part before i left out of the store something told me to open it up and look ,but me trusting adults could correct a order i just knew it was going to be right …Obviously, I was wrong …disappointing when i made it back home same thing an incorrect order .due to traffic i called to make them aware spoke to one of the managers (a woman )seem to have a attitude about me telling her my order was once again Wrong …Nothing was offered for the inconvenience but if i didn’t have anything to do i would have bought it back to be corrected or asked for a refund because people spend their money they should get what they ask for .Anywho just an update, looking at the reviews i’m not...

I went to Steak Escape on Friday. I called out my order 4 TIMES after waiting in line an hour. Only for the lady to still have my order wrong. I have this issue literally everytime I come, along with so many others (according to their ratings/reviews on Facebook) and I never say anything, but that day I just wanted a refund. The manager stated that it was MY fault that the order was wrong (at this point, I am outdone) and that I only have 2 options: store credit or make it over. I stated that I would like my money and I left the food with her. However, I was still denied a refund. There are NO signs saying she do NOT give refunds (I have pictures of the building). I called Byram PD and they stated I would have to take it to court, so I will be filing charges against this location due to this being a civil matter. Steak Escape has been my go-to since childhood and I have never been treated so wrongly. This store needs MUCH training or change of employer, because this location will not be open much longer with the way they are...
