Beautiful place to go for a sunset dinner. We got a table quickly and the cocktails were good. However, be careful when ordering fish. I got red snapper "Cajun style" expecting it to be fried and seasoned, it was served grilled with a red sauce poured over top. The fish was overcooked and tough, not at all flakey; honestly I couldn't even eat it and that is extremely rare for me, I can usually eat something even if I don't love it... The rest of the food was good but admittedly pretty basic, my girlfriend got chicken carbonara and we shared the appetizer sampler of fried foods; both were fine but nothing we had blew us away. I wouldn't come back for the food but I would return for cocktails and maybe an appetizer on the pier to enjoy that beautiful PR sunset 🌅

El lugar lindo, acogedor ,buen ambiente , los aperitivos (sampler) ricos buen precio por la cantidad. La comida : se pidio langosta con carrucho, muy bien de sabor perooo jamas pense q me traerian un platito similar al d un cono de carrucho con 2 pedacitos pequeños d langosta y alrededor d 6 pedacitos peq.d carruchos. Navegando en un liquido d mantequilla lleno de cebollas y pimientos con 4 tostones (del pais ) y ensalada por $40.00 dolares ,sin contar q otro plato igual solo q era al cilantro pq asi estaba en el menu me cobraran $3 00 dolares extra por dicha salsa q no se pidio extra , si mi plato daba pena ,ese mucho mas q lo q tenia adentro t cabia en la palma d la mano, $10.00 dolares x una sangria de parcha q era jugo con hielo de sangria no tenia nada.ahora vamos a lo realmente critico del lugar , el servicio a las mesas y el tiempo de espera para ser atendido, llegamos un.mesero mayor d espejuelos nos llevo a la mesa ,nos dio el menu y ni pregunto si queriamos d tomar algo, regreso al cabo de algunos 20 minutos como vimos la lentitud decidimos pedir todo aperitivos ,comida y bebidas, paso alrededor de media hora y el mesero atendia otras mesas y ni se inmutaba en ir a la nuestra , clientes q llegaron luegovya tenian sus bebidas y aperitivos en su mesa y nosotros sin nada, en 2 ocasiones paramos a otros meseros hasta q x fin una chica muy amable los llevo siguio pasando pues nunca llego un plato sin q hayamos tenido q preguntar incluso nos trajeron la cuenta sin haber recibido la orden, el mesero NUNCA fue a la mesa a ver si deseabamos algo mas , fueron varios los clientes q se fueron x la misma razon , yo no lo hice pues estaba con mi mama una persona mayor q era dificil para estar improvisando. En fin las chicas y los varones jovenes muy amables y serviciales trataron d resolver lo q el otro señor dejaba sin atender,y en cuanto a los precios no molesta pagar x calidad pero tambien debe ser proporcional cantidad y precio y en este caso 2 pedazos peq d langosta y seis d carrucho no valen jamas 40 dolares...por lo menos Yo y mi familia NO VOLVEMOS PD: se le dejo su propina pero realmente fue dinero robado ....0 atencion En la foto se ve mucho pero era un platito pequeño lleno d cebolla pimiento y agua

Edit: two years later , the restaurant has seen its best days. The service can improve and we had to wait for over an hour after we ordered our food for it to arrive. The compliment bread they offer, wasn’t offered to us at all. Sorullos were above average compared to other places and bolitas de queso were also pretty good! But this is not what the restaurant is known for! The Garlic Bread that they served was too greasy! The main course, Churrasco with chimichurri was delicious and perfectly done. I ordered it medium well and it came out perfect. It was tender and juicy and served very elequontly! The chilló al ajillo was also perfectly done and served very nicely! The carne frita was a little dry but good enough to eat!

This was one of the worst meals I've had. I'll start with the good, the mamposteao rice was good, that was it. Puerto Rican food is known for being really flavorful, it is characteristic of this cuisine to be prepared with different types of seasonings which bring that unique flavor, of which this food had none, not even salt. In all my years I've never seen my sister add salt to her food until now. She got the salmon with mofongo, both horrible. The salmon was prepared without any kind of seasoning, it had no flavor at all, the mofongo was boiled, also no good flavor. I got a chicken breast, again it didn't even have salt. I guess they just thaw the meat, throw it on a grill, add nothing and serve it, the same with the fish nuggets we got for our grand nephew, that boy would eat anything you put on a plate in front of him, he didn't eat this at all. BTW, the price on the menu for the fish nuggets was 8.95, when I went to pay the check I noticed that they had charged me 10.95, I asked why they were charging me more, she said the menu states prices are according to market prices that day, I know this is something that's true, but not for cheap fish, it did say that on the menu for the really expensive stuff like lobster (although everything here is really expensive), and when that's the case there's NO price on the menu, since it depends on the market price, duh! But, I still had to pay it. Then there was the service, or should I say the, disservice? What's the opposite of service/good service? The service was awful, non attentive, dismissive, I could go on but you get the idea. We still left a gratuity, because we are that kind of people, but it was less than we usually leave for good service, which this was not, and although we are not wasteful, there was a lot of wasted food that day on our plates. So, this was the first, last, and only time we visited this "restaurant" never again, and DO NOT...

How can I start with our experience at this place, first of all... it was packed, pricey and under staffed ( which we understood and made peace with). we waited about 20 to 30 min to be seated, we had a really wonderful ocean view which is why I have Atmosphere 3 Star. The waitress did not come say hello until 20 min after we sat down, she explained they were behind and under staffed. We said it's ok we understand, let's start with some drinks ( waters and 3 other beverages) at the same time we placed our appetizers order. 30 min later our appetizers come one by someone else, but we have not gotten our drinks yet. We ate the appetizers and at this point we noticed that 3 other tables had been seated after we placed our drinks order. These 3 tables sat down, got greeted, were given water and some sort of bread basket and we still had not gotten our drinks. One hour and half goes by after we sat down to eat at by now we are all done with the place. HUBBY walked up to the waitress and proceeded to cancel our order, she had the nerve to say she told us the restaurant was busy. (She forgot our table) We understand that restaurants get busy, our problem was not getting a glass of water while we waited patiently which we did for over an hour and half. Especially after seeing that other tables seated after us were being taken care of before us. Not once did anyone take ownership of their error and apologize.... 😡 Overall, the experience was terrible and we can't even rate the food since we never got it. The empanadas and calamari we did get were not that good. Will never return and will certainly not...

I visit this restaurant every time I visit the island, which is maybe once to twice a year. The reason for this is because the quality of the food and the service is good. But the last time (2 days ago) was a disappointment. Me and some family members went there to have couple of beers and some appetizers. Because of Covid restrictions the amount of tables available was greatly reduced. We sat outside on the deck and our server right away made us feel rushed and mortified. She kept coming back and asking us to order even when obviously we were not ready and we wanted to take our time and enjoy our appetizers. I had to ask for plates two times to two different servers and they never brought them. I ordered an “empanadilla” which was undercooked and soggy. We decided to give them a break and come back the next day. Well, we couldn’t get in because they were full at the moment when they clearly had less than 30 customers in the restaurant when their door sign said that the limit was 81.... we put our name on the list and were called almost an hour later.... it’s a shame cause we really liked this place, but I doubt me and my family...
