Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Cabool

This was the worst DQ I've ever been to! My MIL has to be wheeled into the restaurant where the drive through starts and the door was at the far end of the restaurant. The disabled parking is in front of a door inaccessible to the wheelchair patrons and to get her into the bathroom, I had to back her down a tiny hall barely able to use a small wheelchair and the bathroom is Barely Wheelchair accessible.

We will Not be back to this tiny DQ!

Our chicken strip was very hot, and the fries were cold and stale. Not a good experience at all!

The ice machine was "empty" or so we thought! A family came in after us and tried to get ice, they went to the counter to let them know their ice machine needed ice. The lady who "fixed" it came out with a big metal spoon and got up on a bench and stood on the counter reached in and started banging on the ice. Yes it started giving ice, however it was unsanitary how she "fixed" it plus she didn't come back and sterilize the countertop.

If the ice needed broken up then I would assume it actually needed dumped and cleaned! I don't usually get ice due to so many researches about how bad ice in those machines can make you sick due to improper cleaning or never...

There were only 2 cars ahead of me, but had a long wait, ordered triple chocolate brownie blast with twist ice cream & added caramel. 1st the treat showed up missing whip cream, gal said oops! So sorry! & fixed it by adding a miniscule amount of somewhat slimy/oozy dribbling cream (not fluffy whipped), then I realized it was made with chocolate ice cream, and a paltry amount at that, so I suggested that they add some vanilla on top to be more like the twist ice cream I had requested, which they did, all with plenty of apology, but then I didn't get a single napkin. I had to run inside for some. The brownie wasn't warm like I've had at other DQ's.. this treat should be hot on the brownie half and cold on the ice cream half. Friendly & apologetic gal but annoying as heck to have it all so wrong and such...

We were literally saying how much better this Dairy Queen was doing lately, BUT. Tonight I wasn't feeling the best (not feeling up to cooking dinner) and it's Mother's Day, so I told my son I would like some chicken strips from Dairy Queen. I called to make sure they were opened regular hours tonight, the guy who answered said yes, drive-thru would be opened until 10pm lobby 9:30. I said thank you very much, got off the phone and my son left almost immediately. He called me a bit later and said they were CLOSED! WHAT?! He said they said they were short handed and were closed.
