It's like any Chinese buffet restaurant i reckon. It has its good days and it has its bad days. Its a hit or miss kinda place to me. Weather the food is fresh or old depends on what time of the day you walk in. And the service depends on what kind of mood the employees are in when they clock in. But this place sure has alot of 1 star reviews. Iv never read about a restaurant that has so many. This place has quit a few problems and issues they need to get figured out. Bad!! They need to get their shit together. Quick!! For awhile when ever im hungry for Chinese and i drive 10 miles to come here it wont have a single car parked in front of it. That ruins the mood for me right off the bat. Iv been hungry for Chinese food all day. That makes me want to turn around and go straight back home. Ill look up and the big red Chinese buffet letters are old and faded. Ill go on the porch and the doors are locked. All the blinds in the windows pulled down and closed. Look a little closer and there wont be a single light bulb on inside. Mmmmm. Makes me wonder how many times a month this place has its bad days. When things don't go as planned. As scheduled. As expected. Or how many times its been sold/bought by the lowest bidder on the auction block. So i end up having to go to a county next door. Not something I have high hopes of doing. And whats so bad is this isn't the 1st time iv come here, or even looked when I was driving by, and it...
Read moreSuper honest review. I usually give businesses the benefit of the doubt compared to reviews for the simple fact that everyone's experience is different and I may have a great one so why not. That is not the case in this scenario. The reviews are true. The food was unbelievably old and cold. Noodles were crunchy and meats were cold to the touch. It was disgusting. This was at 5pm and they do not close until 9pm. When we asked if different food would be brought out they said no not until what was there was gone. They also said they only serve sushi in the morning.. We ate what we had already fixed on our plate which was very very little and promptly left. The bill was 33.85 for two people. I dont mind the prices though it is overpriced compared to the quality of their food and service. We were not looking for authentic Chinese food. We simply wanted a decent plate of food and I can honestly say this was not even close to decent. Try your luck and money there I hope you have a different experience but I will not be referring...
Read moreDelicious! I was a little leery because of some of the bad reviews, but this is one of the few places that doesn't use MSG. I'm so glad we tried it! The food was so good and flavorful, there wasn't a single thing we got that we didn't enjoy. We got the food to go, so I can't comment on how the buffet was stocked other than to say it looked pretty full when we picked up the food. We got Hot and Sour Soup, which was piping hot and good and spicy. Kung Pao chicken, which was the spiciest dish but the perfect flavor I was expecting. General Taos chicken, just the right blend of spicy and sweet and cooked the way it should be (not chicken nuggets with sauce dumped on them). Chicken with garlic sauce was the least spicy of the lot, but I enjoyed the variety of vegetables in the dish and it was nice to have a break between the spicier stuff. The fried dumplings were good, nothing special, but the sauce that came with them was really good and savory and spicy. Overall, I would definitely go...
