A work buddy of mine recommended this place and I ordered green plantain mofongo they served sweet plantain mofongo, when finally recieved the green plantain mofongo, it had no taste I added some Mayo Ketchup and was able to consume but it wasn't right, it had no garlic, no olive oil or bacon fat, I left half of it, then I sort remembered the taste it was like if when they prepared it the bowl not rinsed out properly it tasted like dish washing liquid watered down, my wife had a nice cod and island vegetables dish that was very tasty, but with me they bombed out, a supervisor came by to say they were sorry and why I didn't say anything about the 2nd plate they brought me but I said I didn't want to cause anymore issues. Never was told it would be on the house and I don't look to get free meal etc,, but if you are going to serve someone a meal the quality should be held at a high std or don't serve it. Would I return maybe and maybe not.
p/s the fried pork was very decent.
remember when you go to a place like this thier specialty is making plantain based dishes.

I paired it with the arroz mamposteao, but there are other sides to choose from. The other plate ordered was the pernil al horno with breadfruit tostones. That was even better, with the bit of chicharrón on top of the pernil. I would return to finally try the pastelón they...

The walls around the restaurant are decorated with absolutely beautiful paintings. The details to the architecture & decoration deverse a stand-out review 👏, it is not the trendy flag painted on a wall.
