Great Place!

5 years ago I went there and experience was not so good.

But Last Friday, my experience takes a 180° turn.

Let me Start:

Environment: Place was renewed and as soon you put your foot on it, It was awesome. Lighting, Layout and Design All Around a pleasure for the eyes.

Service: Never before In my life I went to a place, where everyone was kind and humble a trying to make you dinning experience so freaking amazing. Servers were warchful, careful. So simple as this, and that is something I'm very specific, I didn't need to ask for water. Water was there as soon as a Sat on my chair, and everytime the glass got empty. Not only one server, every server was part of that servexe excelent equation. Kudos Guys.

3 Drinking experience: Cocktails were great! There is a goog variety of already drinks with mezcal that were pretty good. A good short list of the but a good one.

4 Food: Last but not least, Food was delicious. I asked for the 1/2 chicken, and to be clear, I was expecting a dry to the bone breast. Busted my friends, I'm more a Leg Quarter chicken eater, but that half chicken was moist, and it has a punch of flavor that is the best chicken I'd ate in my Life.

Experience was sublime so I recommend it any day.

Best...

Ojalá Restaurant is a bustling and lively spot, so reservations are highly recommended. When we arrived, the place was packed, but to our pleasant surprise, we were seated fairly quickly despite the crowd.

The drink menu is a standout. They boast an impressive wine selection, perfectly crafted cocktails, and a nice variety of beers to suit every palate. A delightful and unexpected touch was the complimentary chicken broth served immediately upon being seated. This small gesture was not only welcoming but also delicious—an excellent way to start the meal.

For our food, we ordered the NY steak sandwich with truffle fries and the Ojalá toast, their version of avocado toast. The sandwich was flavorful and satisfying, and the toast was well-executed, offering a fresh take on a classic dish. The only minor hiccup was that the fries were served warm rather than hot. However, the truffle flavor was rich and indulgent, making up for this slight drawback.

Overall, Ojalá Restaurant delivers a great dining experience with thoughtful touches, a well-curated drink menu, and creative dishes. While it can get busy, the service remains efficient, and the ambiance is vibrant. We look forward...

Theres parking in the premises.

Nice vibe and oldie music for ambiance, cool set up and nice staff too!

Speakeasy inspired bar and restaurant! Live music, just not sure when, but I saw a stage and a band setup on it. Plenty of beer and spirit choices

Seems like they were known here for their artesian risottos

LOBSTER MAC AND CHEESE- omg it was a different kind of awesome, the price was better than I have ever paid for lobster, even in Maine I have paid more. The mac pasta itself was different, cheesey but had character and bold taste, the amount and size if the lobster did not let me down, they could though go without the bacon. Just the lobster and the sweet kind of sauce they had with it was enough flavor.

CHORISO RISOTTO- cheesey and not obnoxiously creamy is the best part. The risotto was cheesey and the parmesan definitely showed its presence this risotto was something I have never experienced before. Light and cheesy very good!!

They are definetly at least in my opinion the kings of the risotto!

The service was prettier good and the ambiance was not only a bar vibe but also a place to eat and have a good time.

Brunch at Ojalá is a great time for all but get there early if you want to avoid a wait to be seated. They do a great job making everyone comfortable in a pretty small space. Families, couples and even large groups can be accommodated but call ahead for large groups (12+ people) so they can give you a nice space. If there's space at the bar and you are by yourself just pull up a chair and order. Service is good and is as fast as you can hope for during the busy Brunch hours. While you wait for your Brunch ask "Cuba" the bartender for a Bloody Mary (I asked him to add Tajin to the rim)...it was the best Bloody Mary I've had in years. I had the Pastrami Sandwhich with the fries...delicious and big enough for two to share if you're both a little hungry. Hope your experience is as good as mine...¡Buen provecho!

No sé si regrese. /// It was recommended by someone for a rice mix between Boricua and Asian. Unfortunately, this is one of the places that now has different menus depending on the day. I went on a Saturday and they don't make the rice I wanted, only after 2pm. I went at lunch time. On Saturday they use the Brunch menu, which is more limited. That said, I ordered a breaded chicken breast with a bechamel sauce, cheese and sausages accompanied by "mamoosteao' rice. We also ordered fried pork meat with tostones. The meat was well seasoned and tender but the tostones were very greasy. In addition, it took them a long time to bring the order. The other thing, I noticed that the air ducts were full of mold. Not very good. Another thing I didn't like, besides the poor service, at the time of paying, the machine is programmed to start the tip at 18%. Bringing me water was another problem, whether carbonated, filtered or bottled. No house water. I don't know if I'll be back.
