LongHorn Steakhouse — Restaurant in Caguas

We have always enjoyed visiting Longhorn because of the quality and great service. On this occasion we visited specifically Longhorn in Caguas. Unfortunately, the service was awful. The salad arrived after my husband's overcooked steak that he decided not to change because of the wait time. Beer brought and left on the table unopened, ordered water with a lemon and it took about 25 minutes to arrive and with no lemon among other details but he was a friendly waiter. I was not told beforehand that my main plate which was their salad with chicken would be incomplete. It did not have the usual amount of lettuce, no cucumbers, exactly one slice of onion and for some reason a smaller than usual piece of chicken. Their 15$ salad is usually worth the price. The hostess communicated our concern to the Manager Miguel. He offered to change the plate but for health reasons that was not an option for me. I asked for it to be removed from the bill since I wasn't going to eat it. They did. The Manager told us he would provide us with his details to assure excellent service our next visit but he never returned to our table. That says a lot and even more so since he is the Manager of the restaurant. We will not return to this...

Food undercooked. Asked for medium well. Returned wife's food to cook more. My outlaw steak was tough on one side, undercooked on the other. I asked for medium well. Waitress kept forgetting requests. I left table and asked another waitress to have my food off the table and not say anything to not get my wife upset. I said I would pay for it even though half my meat was laden with fat! The waitress who was very slow, did the opposite. She came to the table and asked what was wrong. I explained what was wrong. She asked to change it I said no. Then she asked if I wanted to speak to the manager. I said no. I asked for the bill and carton for my wife's leftovers. She forgot and I asked again. Le voy a dar una estrella porque hoy se supone que fuese un día especial, ya que mis padres cumplían aniversario y decidí llevarlos al restaurante para que se vivieran la experiencia ya que nunca habían ido. Aunque el tiempo de espera fue de 40 minutos, no fue el factor clave para darle tan baja puntuación a un buen restaurante. El problema surgió con una mesera llamada Cristali (long horn de caguas). Mi padre le pidió UNA COPA DE VINO y la chica al parecer no entendía y trajo la botella la abrió y volvió y se le dijo que era solo una copa y volvió a ignorar lo que ya los tres le decíamos. Al cuarto aviso ella nos dice que "una vez que se abre la botella hay que pagarla" y claro está pues se busco a un gerente que diligentemente se llevó la botella cuando se le explicó que solo se le había pedido UNA COPA y ella con todos sus úteros de stainless steel nos quería empujar, a pesar de que se le había enfatizado en varias ocasiones le dijimos que no. La lamentable sucede cuando ella cambia o torna su actitud de positiva a una desagradable y poco profesional, pues su amabilidad desapareció y demostraba su enfado mediante sus acciones al servirnos. Demasiado generoso fui al dejarle propina ya que estas no son las conductas que se esperan de un servicio al cliente. Cabe señalar que las chicas que nos atendieron en el host fueron muy amables antentas y fueron empaticas ante la situación que se puso haber evitado. Gracias Cristalin porque gracias a tu mediocridad de servicio no vuelvo a recomendarle a nadie el restaurante en Caguas, y no se de que galaxia vienes pero cuando te pidan una copa significa una copa, no la botella completa. Y ten respeto y profesionalismo a la hora de atender a los clientes y máximo cuando te enfatizan que están VISITANDO POR PRIMERA VEZ. Analiza lo que te sugieren, te preguntan y sobre todo TE ORDENAN...usted está para orientar y hacer su trabajo y yo para consumir de manera respetuosa y sin tener que aguantarle actitudes a usted a cualquier otro inepto que ofrezca un servicio tan barato como el que usted ofreció hoy......¡METELE GANAS A TU CHAMBA QUE EXSTEN MILES QUE DE SEGURO LO HACEN...
