Suyaki Sushi bar — Restaurant in Caguas

I visited the restaurant last night (Oct 20) at around 7:00 pm. Long story short, I (along with my company) departed the restaurant after sitting at a table waiting patiently for about 20 minutes without our presence being acknowledged. Although, clearly aware of our waiting, the waitress must have walked past us about 7 times, totally ignoring us. On our way out the door, the employees, while witnessing our exit, didn’t even bother to question the reason for our departure. The restaurant had its clientele, yet it was not even half-full. I certainly wouldn’t have any qualms waiting longer had they affirmed that they were going to be with us shortly, or at least made an attempt to show us some attention. It's not difficult to have an ounce of professionalism. To add insult to injury, the waitress even served other customers that arrived after us. Worst of all, this was the second time experiencing the exact treatment, therefore I felt obliged to capture such dreadful customer service. Businesses need to be reminded that they can’t survive without customers. It is not a good practice for an employee to allow customers to leave, given that they work for tips. I have been looking for as close to an authentic as can get Asian cuisine in Puerto Rico since moving two years ago, and this place nailed it! I wish I had taken pictures! Definitely will next time and I’ll update the review. I had sushi- they have a wide variety of rolls- something for everyone! I had Thai Tom Yum soup so good it took me back to my old neighborhood in NYC! They have a small but good selection of wines by the glass, a larger variety by the bottle. I noticed they have a good selection of beers- domestic and imports. The service was fantastic. The servers were very welcoming and attentive. They were even patient and understanding when my three year old decided to throw a tantrum. I will definitely be returning to Suyaki, and I recommend it 100%! Oh and the prices are affordable! Excellent food, very good flavor, the only reason I always return is that because the service at the tables and pick up must be improve. Service at the table, the waiter is not very attentive to the customer's needs, for example refills of drinks, extra napkins, etc. when we called the waiter to bring things, he seemed to get upset and would take forever to bring them. And there were only two tables full in the restaurant. Orders for pick up, lately every time I order for pick up and when I arrive to pick up the food it is never ready and you have to wait, it is assumed that if you ordered by phone I want to arrive, pick up and leave quickly.
