I have been going to this Burger King since the day it opened. They use to have great quality, great service. In the last 4 months or so things have been going down hill. With a few exceptions the staff could seem to care less about quality customer service. I usually have to repeat my order more then once at the drive thru speaker. I've gotten into the habit of giving my order very slowly hoping that I wont have to repeat myself. Usually I am disappointed. Then I get to the window and I dont even get a "Hi, how are you today" or even a simple "hello." I get my price quoted at me or my order repeated back to me and rarely ever do they make eye contact while doing so. Even after I repeated my self at the speaker the order is still wrong when I get to the window. Today it was the bacon, they forgot the bacon. So when the gal at the window asks them to add bacon the person in the back says "Well, you should have put that on the order." I cant help but think, "I did! Twice at the speaker and again here at the window!" So once they got my order correct on the register I pay my bill. Again I am not offered any Ketchup. I would like to point out that they always use to ask if you want Ketchup. Most people dont think about it till after they've driven away so It's good customer service to always ask. So, once again I have to ask for ketchup only to be told that they're out. At this point I'm fed up and cant wait to leave. I'm handed my food without a word. No, "Have a nice day". Just handed my food and the window closed in my face. I'll be honest most every drive thru place does this. Its a rare treat for someone at the window to say anything to me before they close the window in my face. That was why I used to love this place, because they actually used to acknowledge me as a human being, which is so rare these days. No longer. So I get to my destination and take out my food only to find out that they still didn't give me the correct order. The never gave me the f-ing bacon! Clearly the person in the back was too lazy to correct my order and gave me what was on the original ticket! Even after the order was changed and I got charged for it! I mean they rarely ever get my order correct but I have NEVER had them deliberately give me the wrong order, either out of spite or laziness. She knew I wanted bacon cause she even reprimanded the gal at the window for not putting it on the original order. That's just one of the many things wrong with the place. Most of the time my drink and my fries are not filled all the way, the trash outside is usually over flowing. I will not go to this BK during lunch hours. Be prepared to sit in line for about fifteen minutes to even order and another fifteen to get your food. I was late for work on one occasion because I got boxed in had no choice but to wait it out. They have a second speaker and two windows. They will sometimes use the second window but they never use the second speaker. Again, they used to, but I haven't seen them use it in very long time. When I drive by I usually see a line of about 10 cars. I've seen a few reviews about the food being cold. I have no idea if this is the case cause dont get to eat it right away and its already cooled off by the time I get to my destination, but I have no complaints about the quality of the food. I only continue to get food here simply because of its convenient location. Its right off the free way on my way to work. Read moreWhen we first got to this restaurant it was 5pm, we noticed the longer line but that is fine, this is one of the only places we can get a veggie burger. We placed our order of 4 impossible whoppers no mayo add mustard and two large fries. We waited in the drive thru for about 40 minutes. We got home to eat our food and there was mayo on the burgers. So we went back to the store which is about 10 minutes from our house. We got there and waited 20 minutes before we were acknowledged, we were happy to have our order remade. In the process of waiting for our food to be made again I saw what looked to be a manager handle raw chicken and raw beef, she then went to handle cooked foods like fries, the 4 freshly cooked patties one of which didn't fall straight in the try so she grabbed it and placed it in. Then put the tray of cooked meat into the warmer. Not even in a home kitchen is it right to touch raw meat especially chicken, then touch some cooked food for someone else. Our food was finally made, but I did not want to eat it due to possible contamination of raw meat. I felt awful asking for a refund, but its not right to serve a customer food that has been contaminated by raw meat. The person that helped me get a refund was fantastic, I explained what had happenedand they made sure we were taken care of. They went to get a manger to make it happen, the manager was the person I saw handle raw meat, cooked food, freezer handles, and food trays with the same pair of gloves. Our dad ordered take-out from Burger King and was missing a sandwich, which was quite frustrating as we were all hungry, and my little brother was upset because he didn't receive his meal. We called and requested a refund, hoping they would rectify the situation. Unfortunately, the young manager refused our refund and insisted that we either collect the missing sandwich now or return later. This seemed counterintuitive for a "take-out" service where convenience should be a priority.
The customer service deteriorated further when they repeatedly hung up on us during our attempts to resolve the issue over the phone. Eventually, they even threatened to add us to their "do not call list." When we decided to visit the branch after everyone had eaten, they called the police on us and threatened to charge us with trespassing if we returned. It is needless to say that this treatment left us feeling extremely dissatisfied and unlikely to patronize this particular branch in the future.
We understand that a refund request for a mere $3 may seem insignificant to some, but considering that we didn't receive the missing sandwich at all, we believe it's a reasonable request. It's disheartening to encounter such behavior from young managers who fail to prioritize customer satisfaction and resort to talking back instead.
