Today I went to the new store in Caldwell at 620 N 21st. Ave. And had such a terrible Customer service experience!
5 drink order, one being one with cold foam. As per their app, the cold foam was to be free.
As you can see, I was charged for said cold foam. Additionally, they didn't even add it to my drink!
When I returned to the store to explain what happened and kindly ask to have the drink fixed. The barista was very combative and argumentative. Telling me it was my fault it wasn't free because I didn't ask for it for free. Nor did she apologize for it not being added in the first place. As you can see in the screenshots, it does not say I needed to inform them to make it free. So I wasn't under the impression I needed to ask specifically.
I also suggested instead of refunding me the 1.25 that they just upgrade my drink to the next size up. Which she very aggressively told me no, "we're not going to do that". Even though the upgraded drink cost as per her was only "like a dollar".
Additionally, the manager did a poor job intervening in this interaction. Blowing off the fact that the barista was creating this conflict by simply just not taking accountability and resolving my concern nicely. She should have taken over the interaction and sent the girl on her way to do something else.
Terrible experience! Empathy can go a long way and this girl and the manager definitely need some additional training in said category.

All three of my drinks were made wrong, and then when I mentioned that I didnāt get the correct drinks the lady who seemed to be in charge was extremely rude. The girl making our drinks seemed to be new, so Iām not upset the drinks were wrong. Iām upset the manager or lead didnāt have good customer service. Especially when I spent over $40 on gift cards and drinks. My husband and I also witnessed the same lady, scream at a customer in the drive through over almond milk.
