Cattlemen’s Cafe — Restaurant in Caldwell

Five stars for the staff, five stars for the food, and five stars for the prices (not cheap but fair). Two stars for seating. The booths are made for skinny folks. Too small for today's fatties like me. Would love to see them replace all of them with tables since the booths would be a nightmare to reconfigure. I hope the owner knows what treasures she has in the ladies doing the work in the front end. These servers are the best you would find anyplace. They are like family to many of us regulars. So professional while joking, laughing, and making it next to impossible not to come back sooner than later. This is a true "country" cafe at its best. They are connected to the Livestock Auction building. On sale days, they stop serving breakfast at 11:30, but on other days you can get it until they...

My first time here. I ordered two eggs over medium,bacon,hashbrowns,sausage gravy,white toast toasted dark and/or blackened,and coffee. Everything was good,but my hashbrowns. They were not grilled brown like their name implies. They were more like warm cooked. Like ordering toast,but receiving warm buttered bread. I even sent them back to get some grilled crispy. But my second order came back the same exact way...not grilled brown...ugggh. Maybe Cookie was having a bad Monday. Will I recommend this Cafe? Yes,I will. Plenty of Truck & Trailer parking,nice home town atmosphere,clean dining area,great service. I think after reading this,they will make adjustments to improve their Hash "BROWN'S"...Thank You for a mostly...

Had no idea this place existed..it’s a hidden gem 🤩but we’re glad we’ve found it! I had the eggs with bacon and a side of French toast for $10.99.. and hubby had eggs hash brown mini chorizo‘s with pancakes for 10.99and a side of ham $4.99. Everything was cooked perfectly and we didn’t have to wait very long at all.. food came quick as well! Staff was very friendly new regulars by name and made us feel like family ☺️ definitely our new favorite breakfast place in Caldwel!
