Chill’n Parrot Ice Cream Shop — Restaurant in Caledonia Charter Township

We had an absolutely incredible experience last night at the Chill’n Parrot. The products were great, the owners were genuine, caring and incredible! My grandfather requested a Cherry Malt which wasn’t on the menu but they made it happen, and boy did they deliver. My grandfather was very pleased, then after that the owners came out on the patio to see how the Cherry Malt turned out and if they could have improved in any way. This customer service to me went a long way and really demonstrated how much they care and their passion in owning this ice cream shop. The atmosphere was awesome, yesterday was the first day of summer, it was very hot out but sitting out on the covered front porch with a slight breeze and out of the direct sun was absolutely perfect and a great end to the evening. There was also probably 20 cars there when we got there and the response time for us getting our ice cream was very impressive. I think the Chill’n Parrot will instantly be a staple and classic of the Owosso/ Corunna...

Wonderful place to enjoy a treat! So many choices. Had the soft serve chocolate and vanilla twist. Fresh, best ice cream ever! Others had these crazy tall ice cream cones, scoop kind, that looked delicious. The also had fruit slushies, and they sell packs of icecream sandwiches to go, yum. Staff are wonderful, friendly, hands on, making sure your icecream is perfect. (Saw them give a customer a bowl to go with their cone that was starting to lean a bit. ) The setup: drive in behind the icecream shop, plenty of shady parking and a grassy tree shaded area with tables to sit at too. We are from out of state and we're told we HAD to stop by Chillin' Parrot for some ice cream. It did not disappoint!! The flavor selection was incredible, sundaes looked so good and they even have Dole Whip with feature flavors. My husband had the pomegranate/mango...so refreshing! I highly recommend their flight of 4 flavors in case you can't decide on just 1 (or 2 😉). Ice cream was great but the cherry in top was the service.
