Sprinkles has a large variety of fresh, tasty doughnuts to choose from. We love the maple glazed Cinnamon rolls, and cream filled āLong John.ā Kids love the variety of Sprinkled doughnuts to choose from. Iāve been to 3 locations and never had a bad experience (Hudsonville, Rockford, and now Holland)
A bit of advice for anyone looking for doughnuts in West Michigan and being disappointed that they are sold out. Instead of leaving bad reviews why not wake up and get here early like the rest of us. I mean seriously, who walks into a doughnut shop at 11am and thinks thereās going to be a huge variety left. If a place has a ton of doughnuts left at 10:40 to 11am then they are not doing something right and the quality probably isnāt something you want. Maybe just maybe you can do this on a weekdayā¦
Do you go to the infamous Dutch place here in Holland at 11 and expect the trays to be lined up? No, they also sell out typically by 10am as does any other quality bakeries in West Michigan. People who go to Sprinkles, like myself are often buying 2-3 dozen doughnuts at a time. They still taste amazing the next day or two which I love because I can take them to the hospital and share with other staff. It isnāt that they donāt make enough doughnuts. Itās that those of us who wish to get doughnuts buy dozens at a time so they sell quickly. When I get there before they open, there is typically a long line when I leave. So get here early for your tasty treat unless you want to go home whining and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe drive 15 miles to get the donuts and they are very good, but it is to bad, as this will be coming to to an end. Went there today, 02/28/25, by 9:55am and there were 5 donuts and 10-12 muffins. If this business is so good, they should probably make a change to their practices. Make a 2nd delivery, start making donuts there, if there is no room to make them, move to a different location to do this. Someone also commented on the worker that was rude, yes she is. I have stood in line and seen how she was treating a customer in front of me and I walked out. We are your customers, I'm sure you would not like to be treated that way. And if you were, I'm sure you would be just as nasty back to the establishment that you were at. I have spent as little as one donut to a couple dozen here at a time. I see that I am not the only one being treated this way and that they are out of donuts. Hopefully they will...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy spouse and I enjoy picking up donuts when our kids have sleepovers. We often find younger workers at the Caledonia location and have had no issues - just a simple transaction of pastries. The last two times we have gone in, an older women worked behind the counter and was clearly disgusted that we asked to (quickly) select our own donuts for a dozen box and inquired about any gluten-free options.
(Note: there are no gluten free options, which was not an issue for us; however, others may appreciate this information).
This is a very traditional, 'no frill' donut shop. We enjoy supporting local business but not if we are going to be treated rudely for simple requests. Happy to spend our money - even if it's at a higher cost...
